If your looking for a Hotel that has a friendly atmosphere, central location, fantastic food and totally warm and professional staff you just hit on the perfect hotel. Stayed here for just 1 night as came over for a football match with my father for his 75th Birthday ( although he would say his 21st). From the moment we arrived the Receptionist was so friendly, smiling and ensuring that our stay would be a great one. They even offered us a glass of wine which we had in the lovely bar/resturant area which is decorated beautifully. After finishing the vino off we headed to our room whick was newly refurbished with a modern and warm feel with the twin beds deep and comfortable and no shortage of pillows. The bathroom had a large bath and a lovely hot powerful shower which I always enjoy. Even the towels where large and soft unlike most hotels where at times you feel your rubbing yourself down with sandpaper,We left the hotel and location wise you just can not beat it as right in the heart of the city centre with a two minute walk to the main shopping/bar area. We headed off to the match that night and arrived back later to the hotel where a number of guests where enjoying a few social drinks in the bar area which has a very warm and enjoyable setting with a friendly atmosphere . We had a few beers here and again the staff where brillant as was the case the next morning where the breakfeast was large and fresh and set us up for the day. As Arnie Swazeniger says" I'll be back"

Top secretPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: overall I liked the style and ambiance of the hotel
Cons: no complaints
Location: very central 2-3 minutes to Leeds Trinity Centre - all the main attractions of Leeds - art Gallery is really worth a visit. I also loved Granary Wharf
I discovered that I had booked this hotel via Top secret and was pleasantly surprised to discover I had chosen this hotel - the staff were so welcoming, I was upgraded and offered a welcome drink. The rooms were well furnished, clean and quiet and the bar and restaurant had a lovely ambiance. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location considering the price. I would say this is a very traditional hotel with a slight modern twist. It's located in the centre of Leeds but without the noise. Staff we're very friendly and welcoming. Will defently stay again!

Nice service but not a great nights sleep.Posted May 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for a conference at the royal armouries. Good location for the rail station. Nice welcome from reception with complementary glass of wine (very nice suprise). Room was a snug single, which was fine for my needs. Only real issue was the noise from outside, in combination with a rather uncomfortable bed and a very warm room made for the worst nights sleep I've had in a long time. Bit of a shame as breakfast was nice and public areas were well presented. A better bed and sound proofing would make this a nice little hotel.

tip: ask for a quiet room as some of the walls are very thin and you can hear the people sleeping next door!
