Couple nights, short notice stay.

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Great staff attitude, great location
Cons: modernisation
Location: Everything in Leeds City Centre!
We were in the top floor so had to walk with our baggage up some stairs and many doors which just made it a bit uncomfortable after the travelling. Should provide clear info once booked - about the entrance/parking/facilities. The iron that most hotels will lend you, was a roasting basement, under-stair cupboard - the one iron they had in there did not work so I had to wait another 20 minutes for him to try and fix it, before they just gave me an iron from the cupboard, to iron on the floor in my room... Despite these issues, and the potentially hugely disturbing noise problem, the room was decent enough, the staff were genuinely friendly and the location is fantastic, honestly - I think I would stay again, just give myself 30 mins ahead of schedule to sort things out

Inexpensive City Stay in an Improving Hotel

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere
Location: Convenience for both City and Rail Station ... shops, entertainment and so forth
This hotel has shown a lot of improvements over recent years. Particularly the standard of décor, both rooms and public areas.

Perfect Location and Price

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: n/a
Location: lots of restaurants and pubs near by
I booked this hotel for a very cheap £40 for 1 night. Firstly a great location right in the city centre and literally just across the road from the train station. Parking is just a few minutes away too. Basic amenities in room but for the room price you cant complain. Very friendly and accommodating staff would stay again.

Boys weekend away in Leeds

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Its central location.
Cons: Double glazing needs to be fitted and internal soundproofing to allow you to sleep.
Location: The hotel is next to the railway station so is very convenient. Unfortunately its this convenience that attracts the rowdy yobs.
Awake all night long. Noise from outside on the pavement and continual stream of noisy yobs going to bed at 12am, 2am and 4am. No double glazing to keep the noise out from the street and no internal sound proofing to protect you from the selfish drunks going to bed themselves. Only stay here if you are hard of hearing,

Basic but perfectly adequate

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Basic but comfortable, and quiet overnight so no sleep disturbance.
Only stayed for one night (Saturday) but found the hotel to be basic but adequate for a short stop-over. Conveniently very close to the railway station, which was appreciated. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

good city centre location, next to Leeds train sta

Posted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Good city centre location. Reasonable size room /bathroom. Clean.
Cons: Double doors needed for bedrooms, to stop noise from people using corridor outside bedroom. Breakfast could be included in price. No communal loungei
Location: Everything in city centre is within walking distance from here. Taxis always available at station, opposite. Good pub next door.
No extras without payment e.g. TV, beakfast. Room was fine, if a little cold. Bed good, shower good, tea & coffee in room. Good location if arriving by train into Leeds station. Noise from people using corridor outside room at night.
