Convenient and FriendlyPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The location and friendly staff.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Location: Central location and very close to the rail station. Perfect for shopping in the city centre and for Leeds festival.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for the city centre - literally right outside the train station, but with no noise from either the railway or roads. Would recommend.

Great value, just round the corner from stationPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: price, friendly staff, location
Cons: Free wifi
Location: It's in Leeds city centre.
This is a very functional hotel without any bells and whistles. It's comfortable and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. the breakfast is also excellent value for money.

Convenient Hotel, right in the center of the townPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Where is located
Location: Good location. All shops, cafes and restaurants are near by
Very good located, 3 minutes walking from the train station. Ok relation money-quality, it is cheap but you can not find luxury.

Decent, good for the price but very noisy roadPosted Jul 23, 2014
Cons: Free wifi, less noisy through double-glazing
Location: Very central
All okay would've been good for the cheap price and location but very noisy in the room because of buses in the morning and drunks leaving night clubs in the night (a Wednesday). Wifi charge too is £8 hidden cost and didn't reach my room so couldn't buy it and had to go out to cafe. Recommended with ear plugs.

Good value hotel close to station and city centre.Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The welcome, the central position, the breakfast, the helpful staff, good tray of te and coffee.
Cons: Secondary glazing could be double glazing, giving triple glazing protection from the noise outside. Air con would be good but would put the price up.
Location: Easy walking to very good shopping in huge pedestrianised area. Also to museums, art galleries, theatres Opera North, Northern ballet, concerts etc
Enjoyed my 1 day stay in Leeds very. I was brought up 7 miles so know the city well but it has changed enormously. It was a nostalgia trip and didn't disappoint. Only down-side of this hotel is position close to major road junction and station, making it noisy. Knew this when I booked and was able to sleep in spite of road and rail traffic.

Good for a nights stayPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: It's proximity to the station and high street.
Cons: The styling inside and out is quite dated.
Location: Plenty of pubs in the local vicinity and the shopping centres.
I needed a hotel in close proximity to Leeds Station as I was travelling with luggage and a bicycle to ride the first stage of the TdF. The hotel is situated between two pubs but neither was an issue, and is also very close to the shopping centres and high streets. The room is fairly small and even with the minimal furniture feels a bit enclosed. The corridors are quite narrow and my room had some unusual angled walls which attributed to the smallish feel. However, as I was staying for only the night, it's not much of an issue. If you like an airy room, look elsewhere.

Good value for moneyPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Near to the City Centre Shops etc. Reasonable price for what you got.
Cons: Not really given location and size of hotel.
Location: Near to the City Centre Shops, Main Railway Station and numerous eating houses / restaurants. 20 mins away walk from First Direct Arena.
Only stayed one night as going to a concert at the First Direct Arena which was about 15/20 minutes away by foot. Staff all friendly, room was comfortable and quiet. Hotel handy for railway station, city centre shops and eating houses of all sorts. Q Car Park five minutes away which is handy and you get voucher from hotel to reduce fee which makes it reasonable (well no city centre parking is cheap so the voucher is useful). Yes we would stay again.

Excellent for central LeedsPosted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: It was very cheap for Central Leeds
Cons: Carpets in hallways, especially main staircase. Patterned bed covers in our room looked a bit blah!
Location: Opposite train station, so excellent after a night out in the centre of Leeds
Very basic. Needs a bit modernising. Carpets and bed definitely need renewing. Hall ways are a little smelly - old house smell! The bedding and bathroom was clean. I had a very comfortable sleep. Ask at reception while checking in for more pillows if you prefer 2, as only one each is supplied. For the money we paid you can't really knock it. It's somewhere to rest your head for one night - it does the job.

Cheaper accommodationPosted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Good location, clean, cheap from on a budget.
Cons: Could be updated and the smell of damp removed by treating the problem.
Location: Opposite train station, car park nearby with discounted rate, close to local bars, restaurants and within walking distance to the arena
Booked to stay here for one night as it was cheap and convenient for us to go to the arena. The hotel is somewhat dated and smelt a bit of damp. The room was adequate however it was clean. Sufficient facilities for one night on a budget. Would stay again. The staff were polite and the room was available an hour before the given check in time.
