Lovely location at Granary Warf

Posted May 27, 2015
Cons: The Size of the bedroom was small and there was no bath
Location: There is a Tapas bar, a brewery bar which had live music, the Candle Bar, an Italian and another lovely meat restaurant all within a stone throw away
Great hotel surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants in a classy area of Leeds. The Sky Bar was fantastic and buzzy with great views of Leeds an excellent choice for the Bank Holiday weekend!

Faded

Pros: The linnen
Cons: Everything else
Location: Stare out of the window and despair at the widespread destruction of beauty
Everything was tired, except the linnen which was exellent.

Comfortable hotel convenient for station

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: 1) Friendly, helpful staff; 2) good lighting on the approach across the plaza; 3) I like being able to turn off the air con fan.
Cons: The price of breakfast seems to allow for very many cooked dishes. At bathroom washbasin, it's desirable to have more light on face.
Location: Close by the station, it's a short walk from the centre of Leeds.
Hotel is located in a former wharf area, now improved with elegant lighting. On a single night's stay I probably didn;t see all the facilities, but found the room comfortable, high in the sky and completely quiet.

Lovely hotel, comfortable room, efficient staff

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Comfortable room Perfectly quiet even though located next to the train station
Cons: More tea/coffee/milk in the room Brighter lighting
Location: Ideal for city break 5mins walk from train station
An efficient welcome on arrival and a nice gesture that you receive a warm cookie. Room was ready so we were able to check in early. A comfortable clean room. Beds were firm and a choice of pillows were available. Small shower room (no bath) but power shower was good and a small selection of toiletries were offered. The lighting in the bedroom was soft and there wasn't really a ceiling light so it was dark in the room, but very bright in the bathroom. There were 3 mirrors in the bedroom, including a full length one. There was an iron and ironing board available in the room, and of course the usual tea/coffee facilities. The one downside was the location of the hotel, having to walk through a tunnel across the canal. It was a bit dark and not ideal for a single woman walking on her own. The hotel is only 5 mins from the train station, so is a great location for a city centre stay but the walk through the tunnel is a bit grim.
