Very noisy next to roadPosted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Character, breakfast was OK
Cons: Double glazing, sound proofing
Location: In city centre, location OK
The hotel looks very impressive, the staff were welcoming. I asked for a quiet room and was put on the 5th floor. The room was difficult to navigate due to low ceiling height inplaces and the traffic noise was terrible all night.

Pros: Comfortable, a touch of luxury.
Location: We visited Harewood House, travelled from Leeds to the Yorkshire Dales, enjoyed shopping at the Trinity, and spent a day in York
Great location close to shopping, restaurants and the train station

Two nights in LeedsPosted Apr 8, 2015
Firstly, the room was very large, and immaculate. All the toiletries were nice, and all in room amenities were fantastic. Location is great. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Only down side, is no gym without going somewhere else, however, if you are looking for a superb boutique in Leeds Centre, look no further. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Leeds, and if this is the right price, book it.

Has some old fashioned charmPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Old fashioned good quality hotel in excellent location. Pleasant, helpful staff.
Cons: Only one bedside cabinet in a double room, no headboard and gap behind bed so can't sit up in bed - disappointing!
Location: Shopping galore. Fine choice of restaurants and bars. All within easy walking distance. Leeds is great!
2nd stay here. Very convenient for city centre facilities and only a few minutes walk from the rail station. Generally feels a bit dated but this is part of the hotel's charm. Gave the vegetarian breakfast a miss as thought £15 a head a bit excessive for what was on offer but lots of alternatives locally.

One night in LeedsPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Very different feel and style. Excellent price for the quality.
Cons: More staff when busy in the evening
Location: Excellent location close to station, shops, eating out etc
Excellent hotel - good price, short walk from station, got upgraded room which was really nice. Poor barman on return in the evening was by himself and it was busy, could have done with some help but he did a good job.

Well located, very comfortablePosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Good ambience, well fitted room, excellent staff
Cons: Only thing was road noise, some more sound proofing would help
Great welcome from the staff; the room was a good size, well fitted and comfortable; great location with an easy 2-3 minute walk to the centre of town

city centre hotel, full of characterPosted Mar 23, 2015
I was looking for somewhere to stay in the city centre for a midweek break with my partner, who is not a fan of faceless chain hotels. The Quebecs is certainly different, a lovely building with lots of original features on show including a beatiful stain glass window and impressive stonework. The room was large despite being the least expensive on offer with high ceilings and a spacious shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Location and staff and the beautiful stained glass windows.
Cons: The bed was too soft. The room was at the back of the hotel with a view of the bins and fire escape. Rather disappointing for over £90 .
Overall an enjoyable stay in leeds, an excellent location. It was rather unsettling to be woken at 4 am by a drunken man banging his head against the fire exit outside our room, trying to gain entry to the hotel. A member of staff responded very promptly to our phone call, but it was not what we expected when paying over £90 for our room.
