I've had worse, but can't remember when!Posted Nov 7, 2011
The room was dry and there was tea and coffee. Also the staff were friendly enough. The biggest drawback is that there is no car park. There is a one around the corner if you can get in it that costs £4 per day and that's for midnight to midnight, which is good, but if you're late up and don't get to your car in time to renew your time you'll parking ticket which'll cost you £125! Other than that there's a multi storey car park, or the hotel has two spaces that they use next to a disused nightclub that's for sale, but they'll disappear when that's redeveloped. I think I'll stop there!

AwfulPosted Dec 4, 2007
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was dirty and unkempt. The room was very cold and dirty. The bathroom which was clean but rundown felt artic in temperature as the radiator did not work. The whole hotel needs a drastic makeover to drag it into the 21st Century and also a through cleaning. The only positive aspects was the pleasant and helpful staff and the breakfast was good too.

Great for insomniacsPosted Oct 31, 2007 on Hotels.com
Central location for night life, kept up until 3am by music and noise from the bar below my room. Rooms weren't bad except for the need for redecoration but the public areas were cramped and in awful condition. One lift only that the service crew hogged during the day. Breakfast wasn't bad but you had to find your own table and clear it yourself before you could use it.

Couldn't wait to leavePosted Jul 12, 2006
This hotel is greatly in need of refurbishment. Our room was poorly maintained, wallpaper was badly stained and peeling from the walls and the bed and other furniture had definitely seen better days. Hotel corridors were dark and had a stale odour. Not recommended.
