Hotel not easy to find & front not like a 4*Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: Bed Comfort
Cons: A lot to do with staff advice on hotel and it's facilities and the area and services outside.
Location: In the nightclub district and not far from shops and transportation - but I had to find these things out for myself
Reception staff good on check in but gave no advice for people not familiar with town, or area e.g. newspapers, taxi's, TV, food & drinks available or where to go inside the hotel. Breakfast service slow.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Parking arrangements
Location: Good location close to ci centre
Staff - friendly and helpful Parking - very difficult if you arrive after 10:30pm as NCP car park closes. On street parking maximum is 2 hours starting at 8am and can't be prepaid in the evening. Room - I arrived after midnight and was booked in to a wheelchair friendly room on the ground floor. The room was tired with water marks on the carpet and stains on chairs. As the windows point towards a loading bay, a lot of noise could be heard from about 7am. Overall a nice enough place, though the price is a little bit high for what you get in Leeds.

Pros: Comfortable room with good facilities and some excellent Gins on offer in the bar.
Cons: I did notice that the carpet and some of the furniture in the reception was looking a little tired and could maybe do with updating.
Location: Very close to the rain station and easy walking distance to the city centre for shop, bars and restaurants.
Excellent room, location and friendly staff. The bed is huge!

Centrally located lovely hotelPosted Apr 10, 2015
Beautiful hotel, centrally located. Ideal for our purpose of a one night stopover however the Gin Bar which was mentioned was never manned and we actually no other guests sat in the bar area... Just not very social? Also we were awoken at 8 the next morning to drilling from the opposite building site literally 10 feet away from our window so maybe a room at the back would be better short term

Good hotel, one of the best I've stayed inPosted Apr 9, 2015
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good but was expecting it to be a little bigger, that's being a little picky. As overall we had a very nice stay.

Won't be backPosted Mar 16, 2015
Arrived at 8.45 on a Friday night to be greeted by a receptionist with a bored, hello-free "Checking in". Room was internal so didn't have an outside facing window and there were strange stains on the bedhead so we asked to look at another with more potential external light & less potential disease... but decided to stay put as the alternative was even smaller & faced a brick wall. On discovering the TV didn't work we were told there'd been a hotel-wide problem all day, which was fair enough. However not being informed of this on arrival was not. Having booked in for two nights, things were looking up in the morning as we found the room quiet, the bed comfortable, and breakfast pretty good. Then we found that the toilet was blocked. After reporting this immediately we went out for the day and returned in the early evening to discover that nobody had looked at the loo. What's more the cleaner had obviously had enough by the time she got to our room as her efforts at turning down the bed were cursory at best and the bathroom was exactly as we'd left it, as were our teacups and water glasses. We raised all these matters at the time so managed to get fresh cups & towels but still didn't have a functioning toilet. The duty manager did offer to move us but we had to go out and didn't want to return to another room not knowing where anything was. After restating our case in the morning we were given 20% off the bill. But our experience is of a hotel with a lot to learn about the bas

Stylish and comfortable. Easy walk to city centre.Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: 129 varieties of gin at the bar. Very cool décor and 5 minute walk to city centre and the train station.
Cons: The shower was one of those "rain" showers that was mounted directly overhead, which is really awkward if you're used to one protruding from the wall.
Location: Take Bus 5 to the Armley Leeds Industrial Museum - great local history!
Our time there was brief, but the hotel was modern and comfortable and was surprisingly quiet for being on the street in central Leeds. Staff was helpful and checked our bags while we toured the city. Our room had a nice bar set-up (sans the alcohol) but we brought our own and had a nice relaxing drink in the room.

Large rooms, very comfy beds, no much view from the windows.
