“Impressive levels of service”

It was a pleasant surprise to encounter such high standards of service. Members of staff at check-in were very helpful and everything ran smoothly (e.g they were expecting me). Breakfast was a definite step up in quality from what you would normally expect. When I did have to phone reception not only did they answer the phone quickly but they were informed, helpful with a definite customer service focus. Overall, it was a refreshing experience. The only reason for not giving it the full five stars is that the bed could have been more comfortable, but I'm being really picky here and the bed was not uncomfortable.

I stayed for one night and the hotel status was beyond ny expectation , the condition of the building was excellent despite being an old building , the heating system was efficient during the winter time , the hotel access was easy for a person who reached to it driving , the concierge personnel were quite helpful ,breakfast was excellent, the room furniture was perfect, I definately will consider this hotel for my next visit to Leeds.

“Fabulous Hotel”

A beautiful hotel located in the very centre of Leeds. All staff were extremely polite, plesant and helpful - most unusual for a UK hotel! We booked a junior suite and this was very comfortable and the decor fresh and tasteful. Cannot comment on food as we ate out in the evening and then didn't make breakfast but judging on all other aspects of the hotel i'm sure the food would have been fine.

“A good hotel in a central position”

Valet parking on checking in is very good as saves finding a public car park and carrying bags across the city. You pay for the car park, but the price was fair. The only sight disappointments were that at breakfast the tables were slow to be cleared and waiting staff were not very vigilant in refilling coffee and tea cups. Also when guests had drinks in the foyer lounge, cups could be left for a long time. The room was well decorated and very comfortable, slept well.

Really nice hotel. Tricky to find if travelling by car - sat nav not much use - follow signs for train station ! Otherwise excellent.

“Fantastic hotel, great service!”

I stayed at this hotel overnight for a friend's wedding in Leeds. We checked in in a hurry between the ceremony and the reception and the staff were brilliant - a valet parked my car for me (real bonus when you take the devious Leeds loop road into account) and it took all of thirty seconds to check in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped - breakfast the next morning had a great choice of both healthy and hang-over food, and was being served in two different rooms, to prevent queues or people elbowing each other in the ribs. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again - especially if you can get a good weekend deal! Highly recommended.

The hotel was great. Central location - nice big room with all the amenities. Only had valet parking at the hotel - but that seemed to work out well. V. short distance to walk right to the shops and was right next to the train station. (Couldn't heard the trains at all though). Overall - a great place to stay in Leeds.
