Just a one night stay. Was great value booking on Expedia. The room was great, our children enjoyed the pool and the buffet breakfast was good value too, but only as we got a good Expedia deal on adding breakfast.

It’s got everything you need and is very modern. Some rooms are a long way from reception, so be aware if you have any mobility considerations.

We stayed four nights total at the Village. After four years of visiting our son in Leeds, we decided to try there as opposed to Weetwood, which we loved! We were thoroughly disappointed with the Village. Unpin check-in we were told that eeven as paying hotel guests we still had to pay an additional £5 per day to park. Then they put us in a room above the spin class where the walls literally shook from the head banging music and screaming from the instructor in microphone from 9am to after 9pm. It was INSANE! We asked to be moved to the annex building which was much better. The other issue was everyday we had to go to front desk to get towels as they only gave us one towel for a double, two person booking. They didn’t have a phone to connect to front desk so we had to personally go and get them ALL FOUR DAYS! That is unacceptable! Would not stay at the Village again.

A very comfortable stay. Bathrooms quite dated. Hotel staff very helpful and the village pub served some lovely food. Breakfast buffet was also great.

Very comfortable and convenient stay
Very comfortable and convenient stay, but was somewhat miffed to fond parking was £5 a day at a hotel on the outskirts of the town ... hence a dropped star. Silly way to lose a star! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the venue was impressive!

Arrived a little early, but the friendly receptionist gave us a room straight away. Overnight parking charges apply (£5). Parking was previously free, but is now chargeable - so something to bear in mind when booking. However we were there for a memorial service and the hotel was very accommodating by providing free parking to the attendees

This hotel is a little tired and in need of some updating. The bathroom grouting is needing cleaning/renewing and the bedside light in our room had broken off and needed replacing. The room was not properly refreshed with towels and the bed was not made up. This hotel has the potential to be much better.

Hotel busy and friendly. A glass in the room for water would be good. Whilst room was clean on the surface, you could clearly see the rooms are not often deep cleaned. Lots of dust and dirt round the skirting boards and in the corners.

Nice location. Hotel plenty of amenities,bar, food,swimming and gym all reanably priced. Hotel decor is a bit dark and dowdy. Room we stayed in was clean but did smell a bit fusty. Overall would stay again if wanted that area and got the deal we had for this booking. ie big discount and breakfast.

Was very disappointed with the hotel i found it to be very dated the standard of cleaning was much to be desired. Went to the little cafe near the entrance to the hotel the furniture to sit on was scruffy and well past its date, the food was not up to much. Went into the bar for a relaxing drink but there were TVs on most of the walls so it was very loud. The breakfast was cold and basic for the size of the hotel the area is just not big enough for all those guests. I found the hotel to be very expensive so I would not return or recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice and well located for uni, though a bit far from the centre. Food was tasty, pub menu was good, breakfast a bit limited. Staff all friendly and attentive although i had to ask for clean mugs after room service had twice ben in and not changed. Also returned from a day out to find room had been cleaned and left open which was a worry, but I'd hope an unfortunate mistake.

Overnight shopping trip stay
We arrived a little earlier than the 3pm room ready time and found no parking issues in the large car park. The reception staff were helpful and gave us early access to our room which we appreciated. Our room could have done with a bit more follow up with regard to cleanliness as there was a noticeable build up of dust around door frame corners etc. I would also suggest not storing clean towels on the shelf above the loo but on the whole the room was clean and very comfortable. There is no direct phone from the room to the reception but details are available for the number to call for reception from a mobile. Bed very comfortable and clean and a large tv to watch. Breakfast good value and there was soy milk available which I often find missing from other breakfast hotels. Great pool and massive gym so very good fitness and leisure facilities with sauna and steam room plus a jacuzzi. Bus stop at the end of the entrance drive to the hotel with a 25 minute journey into the city centre from an array of different buses which the reception staff helped us with. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is pretty unbeatable value and we would definitely look to book here first if we were having a short break in Leeds. Thank you for a nice stay
