Stolen Money

Location: There is a great little beach just down the hill
The reason for my poor overall rating is that money was stolen from our belongings. We normally put all cash in the safe, but a bit of money was left out and it was pilfered. I have travelled for many years and this is the first time money has been stolen from my room. The room was great, but had no view. Food for breakfast and dinner was good. Staff was good. The only other odd thing is that there were few people. Seemed a bit of a ghost town.

'Fast wie in Europa'

Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes Designhotel, wie es auch in Europa an einem schönen Fleck stehen könnte. Zimmer toll, Lage, besonders für Golfspieler mit dem Oubaai-Platz von Ernie Els daneben, sehr geeignet und zentral gelegen um all die anderen Plätze an der Gardenroute zuspielen. Besonders gut gefallen hat das Waterside, ein Fischrestaurant auf dem Hotel-Resort. Hervorragendes Essen zu sehr akzeptablen Preisen. Einziges negatives Element, aber da muß man schon ziemlich pingelig sein, ist der Service beim Frühstück. Das Buffet ist sehr gut, aber die Serviceleute beim Frühstück sind nicht die schnellsten. Aber das ist halt Afrika. Da darf man halt nichtimmer unseren Abspruch geltend machen. Insgesamt aber alles sehr zu empfehlen. Ich würde wieder hinfahren.

Nice location but a little remote

Loved the room and pool but pool bar closed in early Feb and hotel bars all closed at 10.30 which is disappointing for a 5 star hotel

Service a little slow

Nice Hotel and location lovely but a little remote from restuarants. Also you cannot get a drink after 10.30pm as all bars closed at that time.

In the middle of no where and very little service. Was like a ghost town when we visited.

Exceptional hotel

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service from all staff members. They take pride in their work. The Waterside Grill had excellent food ranging from sushi to steak and service was again superb
