Peaceful - gorgeous gardensPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: Lovely to sit on the balcony early morning or late afternoon and relax watching the birds in the gardens.
Cons: The shower door - see main comments above.
We stayed in a 1st floor room with balcony overlooking the gardens - beautifully peaceful! The room was spacious and comfortable, with small kitchenette area. The only thing we thought was strange was the shower door that would not open fully as it knocked against the toilet bowl - strange! - and meant getting into/out of the shower was a bit of a squeeze, but a minor concern overall. Just out of the town, about 5 mins drive [the Directions in the Expedia mobile app took us somewhere totally different which was frustrating, but not the fault of the hotel. We didn't use the restaurant or the pool, so can't comment, but would be happy to recommend the hotel itself.

Trendy and Sophisticated EstablishmentPosted Oct 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is my favourite stop-over station between East London and Cape Town and with my family we use this hotel for its convenience, first-class service and comfort. The hotel adapts well for both the discerning traveller and the tourist. My office team brought their planning session to this hotel and left very invigorated and inspired. I normally book the Suite because of the comfort of the lounge area and you could cook your own food if you really brought the utensils and I think people should! The views are great if you are on the top floor facing the Lagoon but just as great if you are facing the Garden area, so you dont miss out!
