Sounds of the OceanPosted Dec 25, 2014
The room and view was fantastic. Most likely the best hotel stay ever. Opened my patio door and listened to the waves crashing on the rocks all night

Pros: Die Lage und die nähe von einen wunderbaren Seafood Restaurant
Cons: Die Sauberkeit im Frühstücksraum könnte besser sein.
1 Übernachtung schönste Lage für eine kurze Durchfahrt fast zu schade

fab locationPosted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Amazing location, would stay here again if in the area, currently renovating so breakfast at pontos next door. Pontos food also very good. Had a sea room and first day saw dolphins swimming past. Rooms a bit tired, but in such a location how long would you want to stay in room!

Great ViewPosted Mar 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great view from the bedroom balcony over the rocks and seashore. Hotel is of a good standard with helpful and welcoming staff. Had a very good and reasonably priced evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold food though some of the hot items were cold and the cereals soggy. Hotel is situated at the end of the promenade by the lighthouse.

Cons: Had a big tour bus in and dinning room alittle bit hectic. Re- setting up of tables wasnt done.
Very nice hotel and people very friendly. Balcony room overlooking ocean and many tidal pools. Good food and withing walking distance to another restaurant. Light house next door, good hike. Tours could be taken from hotel. Very pleased with the area and hotel.

Fantastisk utsikt!Posted Jan 15, 2014 on Hotels.com

Ticked all the boxes - amazing!Posted Jan 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was clean, beautiful views over the sea (we were on the top floor), spacious balcony with large windows/glass door access. Bathroom was clean and stocked well. Complimentary wireless Internet in the room worked well. Breakfast buffet was amazing - one of the best we ever had. Lots of choices - cereals, fruits, yoghurt, 7-8 hot items (sausages, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes), breads, cakes, and other extras (seeds, raisins, flax, etc). The breakfast was a highlight. We also ate supper in the restaurant (ordered from the a la carte menu) and the food was very good - large portions, and good prices. (We ordered 2 Indian dishes - excellent food). Would highly recommend this hotel, and definitely stay again. Free parking across the street from the hotel.

Great location if a bit tiredPosted Nov 7, 2013
We stayed for one night on our way along the Garden Route. The location is really quite stunning and we were able to watch two whales make their way around the headland from our room. We had booked a family room but when we arrived they offered us a superior room on the top floor instead (meant the kids slept on mattresses on the floor but they were happy) because the family room was on the bottom floor and they said it was smelling a bit damp (we looked, and they were right). The staff were really welcoming and the kids loved the tidal pool - not that it's obvious that it is actually a swimming pool. Food was good too. The only let down was the fading glory of the place, including the attached buildings and pool area. It just felt a bit unloved and lacking investment. Can't fault the location though and it was perfectly adequate.
