We were placed in a smoking room our first night. It smelled awful and the chair was so soiled. We were given an upgrade free of charge and stayed in That room that night and the next. It was much cleaner than the first room.

13 miles from the beachPosted Aug 27, 2014
Cons: See my note.
Location: just fair.
Stayed there for 2 nights. First morning breakfast consists of waffles, a bun, fruits, i.e., bananas, apples, tangerines, coffee, orange & apples juices. Next day, none of that fruits are around. asked the receptionist, she said she just returned from vacation, she left, I thought she'd find out, never get back to me anymore. Lastly, motel has a second floor but hear this, "no elevator". For $77.00, I should have booked at Holiday Inn for $89.00. Asked the reception & I think one of them was the operator was there (a guy) that instead can they give us a ground floor room since we got two kids ages 3 & 6 yrs. old, basically said no without any effort on their part to find me one by looking their bookings or schedules. Not recommended for referrals.

Immaculate low budget hotelPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness of the hotel was pleasantly stunning.
Cons: I would like to see them change to plush bath towels.
Location: I was in the area for a music festival. There is an Outback Steakhouse just across the street and the hotel is adjacent to a Bob Evans restaurant.
The appearance of this "low budget" hotel rivaled that of many 3 and 4 star hotels I have visited. The interior walls must have been recently refurbished as the hallway and room walls and ceilings were spotless and actually gleaming. The staff is pleasant and low key. The only drawback was the bath towels which were super thin and a bit scratchy.

Not bad, but not worth the moneyPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly on check in, on check out, the guy in the ripped tshirt wasn't as pleasant.
Cons: Cleanliness, breakfast options.
There were furniture parts all over the hotel, the bathroom was a mess, and there was a shampoo knocked over, but no conditioner. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, just shows lack of care. The hotel had a bad odor.

Short stayPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was the most inexpensive hotel in town. The hotel is being renovated and has a lot of clutter around the hallways. The front desk clerk was very nice and the room was adequate for my short stay. For a short night's stay, I think it is ok when you compare it to the price. Until they get their renovations done, I wouldn't want to stay here longer than 1 night.

Never stay there againPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff was friendly and professional although unable to help us.
Cons: No smoking. I am shocked that there are still hotels with smoking. I thought all buildings were outlawed.
Location: The location was perfect for us. There is an Outback Steakhouse right across the street that we went to for dinner.
I specifically requested a room with no smoking (through Expedia upon booking). Our room was smoking. I have one family member with asthma and a baby. The room smelled awful and the bathtub was very scratched up. I went to the front desk but was unable to be moved as they were sold out for a local event going on that weekend. If I had any other choice, we would have left that same night.

Adequate for purpose. Good price. Hotel has seen better days, could use some renovations and old furnature removed, but clean
