"Big help."
I needed to get a taxi right away in order to get to my meeting in time. The valet went above and beyond by walking around the corner, hailing a cab and bringing it back to the hotel so I would not be late. They saved the day!

"Brilliant stay at the Mia Casa"
Just got back from a fabulous holiday in Hong Kong made even better by my stay at Mia Casa. The hotel is very compact and as all buildings in HK goes up rather than out. The room was spacious and luckily for me was only on the 5th floor of 20 (don't like heights!). It had a large double bed, fabulous shower - very powerful with both overhead and hand held sections. The room was cleaned every day. There was a small kitchen area along one side of the room with a microwave, grill, tea and coffee facilities, pots and pans and utensils - I could have eaten in every night if I wished. There was plenty of storage and a table top ironing board and iron. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was always someone on duty. It was very reasonably priced and I didn't have to pay the bill until I arrived, giving me the chance to cancel up to 2 days before I went. I would highly recommend this hotel

"Good hotel if you don't mind being a little a far"
We were here for a week and we enjoyed our stay quite a bit! The rooms are rather big for Hong Kong (maybe a little smaller than a standard US double room). Since space is limited in Hong Kong, it's hard to find a hotel with this much space and still under $100. The inside is much of what you'd get from any other hotel, although there are only standing showers in the bathroom and the elevators to the rooms is much smaller than the ones in America. The hotel itself isn't located near any MTR station, so it might be a little inconvenient to get to Central. If you're planning on visiting the University of Hong Kong, it's only a 10 minute walk there.

Pocket Guide: Western District, Hong Kong Shopping Hotels

Get a feel for the Hong Kong of old. Start at the Chinese Central Market (the tender-hearted should avoid the lower floors, where poultry butchering takes place) on the corner of Queen Victoria Street and meander down narrow laneways where herbalists and other traditional shopkeepers display their wares. Don’t miss the world’s longest outdoor escalator, at 880 meters, which also provides sweeping district views.
