Outdated hotel

Posted Jul 24, 2014
I was surprised the hotel was so outdated; it was not very luxurious. I was disappointed that this Four Seasons hotel did not live up to its name.

Welcoming staff and great service

Posted Jun 11, 2014
We had a great stay at the Four Seasons. The service we received was excellent and the room was perfect. They put a play tent up for our one-year-old and also gave her a welcome cookie and juice. Little touches like this make a big difference. The pool was lovely and the food in restaurant was good. I would def. book again if in the area.

Great Value on a 5 star Hotel

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: The rose gardens, and the entire grounds are spectacular.
Location: It's a 20-25 minute drive thru the hills to Malibu beaches.
We found this Four Seasons outside of L.A. to be a lovely property with friendly & professional staff. We did not get the pretentious feeling of many other elite hotels. They have beautiful rose gardens and outdoor play area with putting green, chipping and frisbee golf, which we utilized to relax. My 17 year old son actually stopped to smell the roses! The outdoor (full-sized) pool, fitness center and spa areas are all well equipped and maintained. There's also an indoor pool. There is a comfortable "teen lounge" and arcade with free video games, X-Box, 2 ping-pong and 2 pool tables. We booked the Friday night package which was a real value and then we stayed an extra night. It's close enough to the big city, yet somehow feels secluded and serene.

Not your typical 4 seasons

Posted Jun 9, 2014
We have stayed at other 4 seasons and this simply didn't meet up to the 4 seasons standard that we expected. Bed was seriously uncomfortable. Not enough lounging chairs at the pool. 2 of the 3 days we had to wait over 30 min. I'm sorry but that is not tolerated at a 4 seasons hotel. The complimentary drinks of ice water and lemonade had no cups out almost every time we walked by. Even the grout in our bathroom was dirty! That might sound picky but not when you are used to such high quality from this brand name! Staff was super nice I will say that though.

Great Stay!

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The location was convenient for our trip, very well maintained with a top notch staff.
Location: We visited the Reagan Library on our trip and the four seasons is only about 10 minutes away.
The Four Seasons Westlake Village is a beautifully well maintained hotel with a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is top notch.

That's a real 5-star hotel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: cleanliness and detailed.
Cons: shower pressure
clean and detailed, bathroom is always the first place I will look into. It has everything you need. The only shortcomings are the shower pressure. It needs to be a little stronger.

Excellent hotel and staff.

Pros: The staff, the property and the location were fabulous.
Location: To do: Presidential library, Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica( take the coastal road for beautiful drives). They have great suggestionsrestaurants
Our family stayed here for 3 nights while visiting southern California. We had 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and elegant. The hotel was well appointed and provided something for all ages. The kids enjoyed the teen room and the kids room. The pool was heated and clean and we enjoyed drinks poolside on 2 separate occasions. Breakfast was served in the lobby and it was fabulous. We had a car but they provide a free car service for close drives. We stayed here because it was a great base to see Santa Barbara, Malibu and Santa Monica. We were also able to see the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library(10 min drive). Our son turned 15 during our stay here. The staff signed a card and surprised him with a great chocolate cake and cookie plate. Also, upon check-in they gave our 5 year old a gift. It was a perfect stay.
