Quiet hotel but close to village

Posted Apr 6, 2014
I didn't spend much time in the facility as we were out and about in the village, the room had a nice bathroom and a mini fridge, it was a bit small but did the trick. Decent hotel for a decent price.

nice experience overall. we asked for toothbrush and slippers and they are all delivered on time. it is a small hotel with no restaurant. did not know if they have any facility like gym or swimming, I don't think so.

Great boutique hotel for low price.

Posted Mar 19, 2014
Family of four (with 2 young kids) needed a good place to stay for 2 nights. Location was about 8 minutes walk to central area of Whistler village, which was good to avoid the noise, but close enough to the village atmosphere. It was a bit of walk for the young kids to the ski-lifts (15mins), but manageable. Staff was very helpful checking in and giving us info about places to see and do. Parking was $19/day and free wi-fii. Heated pool was a bit cool (it was snowing) but hot tub was fine. Our room (3rd floor) was very quiet, but in the morning you can hear people walking around with their ski boots. The room was a 2 queen bed which was a bit small , but was clean and was ok for our needs. It is true there is no restaurant in hotel, but not an issue we supplied own breakfasts and ate out the other times. The hotel did offer between 2-5pm complimentary hot drinks (great after day of skiing!). We have stayed at a wide range of accommodations at Whistler, and we found for its price and function Aava hotel was good enough. We would definitely come back again next time.

Hotel is at great location, close enough to the center but not noisy at all. Hotel staff were friendly and they even let us use their facility after checked out and coming back from the hill later on the day. Recommended!
