Great Location, Good amenities for a extended stay

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Great Location next to restaurants, shopping. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher (!!!). Lots of space, balcony, and the additional sofa bed.
Cons: I found it a little ridiculous to be charged a parking fee at a hotel. It may be the normin bust Whistler, but I find it inconsiderate.
We checked in very late, but staff was very responsive, and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable for us and our 2 children, lots of pillow selection. We just had a short overnight stay before continuing our travels, but the room looked very well equipped for extended vacations, with kitchenette etc.

centrally located but in need of renovation

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: renovation or extensive cleaning
Location: lots of restaurants, pubs, clubs, shopping, and a tour/adventure desk close by
We stayed over at the Blackcomb Lodge on the Labour Day long weekend. The location is right in the center of the village. Even though the outside was busy late into the night, the room was not overly noisy. The hotel, however, is in need of renovations and/or substantial cleaning. The pool tiles were awfully dirty as were the carpets in the halls and rooms. The shower curtain had pink scum on it. The wallpaper was peeling at corners. I will choose a different hotel next time.

friendly staff

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: good price, decent amenity, friendly staff, nice location
Cons: sofa bed can be little more comfy.
Location: very good location, everything is walking distance
we were welcomed, I liked the lady at the front desk. staffs are working hard so I liked it. Reasonable price. But because of the location, it was very noisy in the night. pub was close that is why.

We had a great time for the very short stay we could managed. Looking forward to returning and staying longer to get the real experience of what whistler has to offer

Lodge has seen better days

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Its an OK stay. In a convenient place, our room had an equipped kitchenette which helped with the cost of eating out. I found the bed pretty hard but my fiancee didn't mind it. The Lodge has seen better days and needs a little TLC. Elevator is grungy and slow, pool and hot tub surfaces are really rough to the skin and tiles look like they need replacing. Nit picky stuff. Its mostly clean, and we had a pleasant stay. Nothing to gush over.

Not bad for the location.

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Great spot, nice and central, really great to have a kitchenette in my room however the sofa bed should not be included as a bed without some kind of disclaimer :)) seriously the springs were terrible. The rest of the room was lovely, good working climate controller and beautiful view of the mountains. My only real dislike was the fact that we were neglected in the cleanliness~ being a couple girls staying there for five nights should merit a little more than just making the bed. We had to ask for new towels days into our stay along with a extra bar of soap... a little strange but nonetheless it was a great stay with lovely staff.

Nice hotel in the village

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: In the heart of the village
Cons: Fix the airconditioning
Location: Close to everything
We had a nice stay in Whistler, and found the hotel to be reasonable for the price. The airconditioning was very poor though which made it nearly unbearable in the hot hotel room, especially in the lofted bedroom. I'll stay there again but not in the peak of summer
