Well equipped and furnished condo in quiet areaPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: quite, clean, secure parking.
Cons: Stream line booking procedure to avoid going to separate location to obtain room keys. Include parking fee with room charge. Improve bike storage.
Location: Walk to Whistler Village, shops, groceries.
Did not like the separate desk check in location some 1/2 km from actual room facility. Room clean and well furnished/equipped. Did not like the undisclosed $20 nightly parking fee or the $500 damage deposit charge to credit card which was returned following stay. Details of such charges not fully disclosed at time of booking. Necessary to store our mountain bikes in room as designated storage was full. Total book in experience would be confusing for international or domestic traveler not familiar with Whistler or Whistler Village. Now that we have the experience and know what to expect would consider again booking facility as long as rate is $100 or less per nite.

We Love WhistlerPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location and West coast style of Lost Lake Lodge. Swimming pool and hot tub.
Cons: Maintenance. Check those batteries! Have an employee present at Lost Lake Lodge when people are checking in. Such a pain picking keys up at Blackc L
Location: Lost Lake is within walking distance, Skateboard park for kids, Biking, hiking. Interesting cafes and coffee shops in the village. Great bus service
We actually loved Lost Lake Lodge. There were a few things we did not like, the fact that we were expected to walk way into the Village and pick our keys from Blackcomb Lodge. After travelling for nearly 3 hours we just wanted to get to our room and kick back. We were less than impressed with having to firstly figure out where Blackcomb Lodge is and then having to walk for some distance to actually pick up our keys. There should be an employee present at Lost Lake Lodge to check people in. Maintenance at the Lodge could be better. Grumpy repair guy who should be checking batteries on locks on a regular basis. We were locked out of our room for nearly 2 hours on the day we were to check out. Apparently the door locks are battery operated. We were not the only ones that had this problem, a lady on the lower floor had the same problem that day.

Good value for the price, nonexistent service.Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Excellent value for the price.
Cons: Possibly a dropbox for keys at Lost Lake Lodge, instead of having to drive to the village to drop off at another hotel....
Staff is nonexistent and keys have to picked up and returned in the Village, which was very inconvenient. Arrived at Lost Lake Lodge to a locked door to the lobby and no sign to indicate to check in at a different hotel in the Village......another guest was nice enough to stop and tell us to head to Blackcomb Lodge to check in and pick up keys. Other than that, our room and hotel was clean and for the price, it was excellent value.

There was never any staff around! And to check in or out you had to go to another hotel 3 blocks down. Well in my experience since there was no staff around.

Quiet and close to nature trails/Lost LakePosted Jul 28, 2014
Great rooms - clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Close to the lake and walking trails. Free Shuttle to the village very close by. Only complaint is that the suite did not have air conditioning - on the hottest day it would have been nice to have to cool the room off, but that is the only complaint.

Pest control issuesPosted Jul 2, 2014
All was great except that the staff had not cleaned away the mouse droppings on the patio. Did not see any droppings on the suite.

Clean and QuietPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed for 4 nights and was very quiet, need a better explaination when booking,as there is no staff on site and needed to make 2 trips down to get keys and checked in. Very clean and good location if you like to be off by yourself. We would rate it a overall 9 out of 10.

Pay Parking and a Old matressPosted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: nice facilites
Cons: matress and you should have to pay for parking
The location and the building are really nice and very quiet but the room had a very old matress that was as hard as a rock. The other crazy part was parking was $20 every night. This makes no sense to me.
