Great location - lots of spacePosted Dec 18, 2014
Cons: Housekeeping faciliities
The overall experience was spoiled somewhat by there being no housekeeping until late in the afternoon - or not at all.

In the Heart of the VillagePosted Dec 8, 2014
This hotel was a good choice for someone that looks for deals and the lowest price for the most offered. There was a full mini kitchen in our 1-bed bachelor-suite-style room, a jacuzzi jet in the tub, and a fireplace that heated up the room. The location was great, too; right in the village, and there's no need to use your car to get around. The staff were very friendly (as always), and there is everything you could think of that you'd need in the room (pots, pans, a toaster, shampoo and conditioner, even a restaurant guide for the village). All in all, this hotel was a great choice for a short- or long-term stay in Whistler.

Très près des pentes de ski.Posted Oct 7, 2014

Last minute trip to WhistlerPosted Sep 29, 2014
We wanted to be close to the gondola and this place is right there so location is awesome. The free parking lots #4 is across the street so that made it convenient to use else it's $23/night. Their checkin is unique in that you go to another building not the front office of the hotel. I guess there are two hotels in the same building. It's around the corner so it's easy but be prepared to be re-directed. Both front desk were not the most pleasant. It's like they didn't like working so they were not so friendly, abrupt and impatient. We were there mountain biking and they have bike lockers downstairs in P2 parking. It's at the base of the elevator with signs saying no bikes, ski, snowboards in rooms. I assume that meant room and not taking bike down elevator to locker. I was actually yelled at for trying to take it in the elevator. Maybe there sign show say in elevator also!! My bike was clean and I was shocked that the guy couldn't have said it in a polite way what he wanted me to do. Swimming pool was heated and hot tub was nice. Kids loved it and played for hours in it. Room was awesome. We got the loft...very cozy and very comfortable. Overall the hotel was just right for us and would stay again. The only negative was the people working there!!! Why work in a service industry if you don't want to serve?

Exceptional value for the price. We paid less than 70 a night for a studio with small kitchen. Next time I would go with the loft for more space but would definitely rent again for the cheap price and awesome location

Great location, not great conditionPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location. The pool area is nice, the staff are great, and its overall very convenient being right where it is.
Cons: The room needs updating and better ventilation. It would be nice if they could put the Front Desk actually in the hotel instead of down the street!
Location: There's SO MUCH to do nearby, all within walking distance. We parked our van underground and didn't see it until we were checking out.
The hotel is in a great spot, but the condition of the hotel is a little run down. It is just on the edge of the Village and at the base of the Blackcomb slopes. We stayed in Sept and the room was MUCH too warm and there aren't any windows in the loft so there's no way to vent the warm air out. The room is tired could use a serious clean. The kitchenette is newer and suits what we needed it for, but the rest of the room could use an update.

thorough attention needed towards the sofa bedsPosted Sep 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
everything at our stay was fine but my husband was looking forward to using the big jetted tub in the bedroom like we had 4 years ago, this time the room was on 2 floors and it had it's own sauna upstairs which was cool but I wish from the description of the room it was clear that it would be on 2 floors and there is no big jetted round tub in the bedroom, another thing I was unhappy with was the sofa bed, it could do with getting dust removed from all of the tops that is normally not seen unless it's getting made into a bed, I didn't like that, the weather was very hot the weekend we stayed and the AC struggled to cope with it leaving it very stifling to sleep at the top, the front office said that 60 on the cool setting was the highest it will go and that it will cool down once the sun went down, myself and the children were ok but our family in the other room said they were uncomfortable sleeping at the top, it was too hot! the volume on the phone did not have much power to it, I couldn't get it to go higher! everything else was just great, there was ample enough blankets for the sofa bed and the kitchen was very equipped with everything you would need to make a nice dinner, the views were beautiful, the movie channels were luxury, having stereo, DVD player and their remotes were nice touches, the furniture and decor was very nice, lots of closet spaces, with robes all handy to use and 2 full bathrooms, we didn't have time to use the pool and the hot tub but it looked very inviting and I'm sure it would have been a perfect experience! the front office staff were polite, courteous, very knowledgable and helpful.

Heart of the VillagePosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location. Great use of space in the room.
Cons: I found the futon style mattress comfortable, but it may not be suitable for anyone with back problems.
Location: Within walking distance to Whistler Mountain base. Near Village Stroll's shops & restaurants.
Great location just steps away from the Village Stroll bordering the lower and upper Village. Room was comfortable with a well equipped kitchenette, including range and oven. Pool area is spacious with an oversized hot tub.

Wrong buildingPosted Sep 8, 2014
Apparently there are two buildings with the Executive group. We ended up in the building that they don't staff. The staff there was from a different hotel company. Because of this service was horrible.
