“A definite return trip!”
There were four of us so we booked the loft suite and it was worth every penny. We had a queen bed in the loft with a bathroom and a sauna. The main floor had a full bathroom, kitchenette, two pull out beds but we only one. The lodge was within walking distance to Whistler Village, Upper Village and the trails.
“Great value, good location and quiet”
Great location, everything is within walking distance and yet, it's not noise. The heated pool was a great place for my kids, they loved it. We stayed at the loft which had a kitchen so we cooked there, much easier then dining out especially if you have kids. Just remember to pick up all your food before heading up there, otherwise, expect to pay more from local store. The kitchen has everything except cooking oil, salt... The loft provided enough room for 4+ people. We have 2 adults and 2 kids. Pretty clean, The hotel does charge $16/night parking in the garage. If you have stroller, you will need to get out from the parking garage floor since there is no ramp access near the front. We think this is a great place to stay and we will come back to this hotel again next time
“Good price and quality”
A comfortable and clean hotel at a good price with very friendly and helpful staff.
“Great Location in the Village!”
The Mountainside Lodge location is absolutely perfect. I have absolutely no complaints about the condition of the lodge or the room as both are very well kept (CLEAN). The only word of caution I would advise to light sleepers is to ask for a room away from the elevator and stairs and not facing the circular driveway (that they share with other businesses/restaurants). We were not so fortunate and heard people coming and going during the night - noting the patrons exiting the restaurants/bars in the late hours were very loud. Oh, and don't let the murphy bed scare you - it is perfectly comfortable. We will definitely look into staying at this lodge again if they can guarantee they will place us away from the elevators, stairs and the circular driveway outside the lobby entrance.
“Nice lodge, next to the Plaza”
Clean, comfortable rooms with dry sauna and proximity to the slope. Free locker for skis and hot tub outside. You get what you pay for.
“Awesome loft and heated pool mountainside”
Pleasantly surprised. Great location right behind Pan Pacific. Very short walk to both gondolas. 1 bdrm loft awesome. 2 full baths, hi ceiling living area w sofa bed, fireplace, open loft w comfortable queen and very useable kitchen. Nice pool kept 90F (kids swam while snowing) and nice hot tub w mountain view. Underground parking reasonable price. I'd stay here again.
“Mountainside Lodge-Whistler 2011”
Cannot beat the location! Excellent hotel. Very comfortable--although the trundle bed is not spectacular, it was sufficient and we knew about it going in. Harley at the front desk was great--gave us directions several times as we ventured out into the village--and she always did it with a smile.
“Not great, but it was good enough”
The hotel was sufficient. It wasn't extravagant, but it was clean. The hallways are really narrow, and our closet door was broken, But all in all, it was fine. There is one elevator, so it was a little inconvenient, but the location is great. We didn't get our receipt via email like we were promised.
“Close, Simple and Clean”
The hotel is tied to a vacation club and has very little vacancies, so grab this place if you get a decent rate. It is very close to the gondolas in Whistler Village, like 250 yards. We got a simple studio with a murphy bed, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. Clean everything, but nothing fancy. Good towels and linens; hots of hot water. We had the 3rd week of July. Nice (Hot!) spa and pool. Quiet expensive Italian restaurant on site. Noisy bar/restaurant across the plaza (The Keg) on the front(lobby and away from view) side. But the noise was only bad on Saturday( until 4 am). We had a great time. I won't quote prices but we got a great price and that made it a terrific value. Non-smoking policy is good for us, but some drifted into our 2nd floor window from the smokers outside the lobby area.
“I will definetly be going back”
Loved it
