Very nice hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015
I just spent one night passing through Whistler. The hotel is what you would expect from Pan Pacific, very clean and well appointed. I would always recommend PP to anyone looking for a nice hotel.

Wonderful room. Wonderful staff

Posted Mar 30, 2015
First the location: it is in the middle of everything about halfway down tge village stroll. Stay here. Do t stay in the Upper Village... Not much going on there. The room was perfect: spacious and inviting, comfortable yet classy. And I do not recall a hotel where every staff member was such a happy person, and always willing to help make our stay perfect. They gave us activity and restaurant advice, made reservations, drove us to the Scandanave Spa and picked us up, and jump started the dead battery in our rental car. What more can you ask for?!

Better than expected.

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Clean, great location, safe, comfortable, fireplace, soft robes, complimentary breakfast and Apres, nice hot tubs, friendly staff.
Location: About two minute walk to the main gondolas. Two amazing restaurants steps away (Earl's and 21 Steps).
I thought I booked the sister hotel closer to the gondola (Mountainside). Thankful now that I did not since this hotel was as convenient and had several perks not available at the Mountainside where we stayed two previous visits. There was a nice complimentary breakfast with a rotating main course (pancakes, waffles, tacos) but always eggs, meat, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and breads. There was also a complimentary Apres that I didn't think we'd attend since we are big drinkers. However the cocoa and dark beer were as unresistable as the cookies and salty snacks. The hot tubs and pool were similar at both locations, the Mountainside has a much better hot tub view of the Whistler final run to the village. We stored our skis at the Mountainside (complimentary) making the convenience no different between hotels for me. The staff was very friendly and accommodating at both locations. I am a loyal user of this hotel chain at Whistler and if the occasion presents I will book with them at other places.

Dear Pattie, Thank you for writing about your stay with us. I'm happy to hear that your stay at the Pan Pacific Village Centre exceeded your expectations. It's great to see that you enjoy the breakfast each morning and it sounds like you took full advantage of the apres hour. The Whistler Brewing Black Tusk Ale is a real treat after a day on the mountain. I'm glad that you found the ski locker convenient at the Mountainside and that our staff were so friendly and accommodating at both properties. We look forward to welcoming you for your next stay in Whistler. Kind regards, The Pan Pacific team Whistler Tom F - Guest Experience Manager

Perfect Location

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The apres ski is not worth heading down from the mountain for.
The hotel is well situated for exploring the mountain and the town. The room is a great size and having the lounge and kitchen makes it a relaxing space rather than just a hotel room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel and staff.

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Great staff and service. Very nice rooms and amenities. We loved the Apre ski happy hour. Breakfast was great too. The location is perfect.
Cons: The pool is a bit small, but that is the only minor complaint.
We stayed at the Pan Pacific Village hotel on trip over President's Day week in February. It's a fantastic hotel.

10th visit to Whistler. Best hotel yet

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Each room has a dedicated ski locker just steps from the lifts. I really liked being able to walk back to the hotel without carrying my skis.
Cons: Nothing
Great visit. This was my 10th visit to Whistler. This is the first hotel I would recommend without any reservations. The hotel is located close to the lifts and is right in the middle of the village. . The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff were pleasant and helped me check in and out at odd times. The included breakfast was nice and had different options each morning.

Nice location

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Great location, close to Starbucks and several restaurants... Hotel hot buffet breakfast was tasty, nothing extravagant but considering its included with the stay it is well done. Staff mainly mind their own business and keep to themselves but are extremely helpful and friendly when asked. Room was nice and clean - I have no complaints at all!

Beautiful cozy hotel in Whistler Village

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Clean, roomy, friendly staff, and steps away from dining and shopping in Whistler Village.
Cons: Cheaper parking.
Location: Earl's Restaurant is right next to the hotel. Daily food and drink happy hours from 3-5pm and 10pm to close. Delicious! Great shopping in the Village.
This hotel is located in the middle of Whistler Village. It is the updated version of its sister hotel which is a short walk away and at the ski lift. Guests get all access to both resorts. You can store your things for free in a locker at the sister hotel for free while you ski. You also get 10% off ski rentals at the rental place inside the sister hotel. Tip: be sure to check out the Sunday fire & ice ski show from the pool balcony of the sister hotel. Free hot chocolate and coffee. The rooms at the Pan Pacific are beautiful. We got the one bedroom upper floor suite. It had a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, range, and pots, plates, and utensils. There is a dishwasher as well. The bathroom had a shower as well as a soaking tub. There was a sitting area at the bar in the kitchen as well as a small table in the living room. The living room had two couches as well as a gas fireplace. The room had a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The bedroom had a king size bed with two small closets on either side. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job everyday. The hotel does have two hot tubs, a heated pool, and sauna, spa, and workout room. There is free continental breakfast daily from 7:00am to 10:00am and an Apres hour from 4:00pm to 5:00pm where your first drink is free. Parking is about $28 a day and you park in the garage directly below the hotel. The same elevator you take to your room brings you to the garage. Very convenient.

Dear Becky, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience while staying with us. It's great to hear that you found the amenities and facilities at the hotel and in your room so good. The ski locker at the Mountainside property is particularly useful and it's a great help on a family vacation having the complete kitchen in your room. It's a great tip about the Fire and Ice show. The Pan Pacific Mountainside pool deck is the best viewing platform in town and the added bonus of the hot chocolate makes for a great evening for all the family. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best regards, Tom F - Guest Experience Manager
