“Great location and fine best food!”
We loved the restaurant at this hotel. It calls Element. It was the best food and service that we ever had!
“Great Whistler stay”
Summit Lodge and Spa has everything you need for a weekend away at Whistler. Conveniently located. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean
“great but noisy”
had issues with "ongoing flushing" noises inside and people singing and yelling outside
“Nice location”
The hotel is conveniently located in center of the town. Check-in has been a little bit too harsh. The room was OK, although noisy due to air conditioners (of other rooms) and refrigerator (of ours).
“Parking problems, never come back!”
The hotel doesn't have sufficient guest parking (it was full all the time over a regular weekend), and it doesn't have a loading/unloading area. And all parking at the hotel entrance requires payment, even if you need 5 min. We've got a parking ticket for a 5-min stay to check-in. And the hotel stuff either doesn't want or can not do anything to help with parking. Overall, the hotel is comfortable, but its location in Whistler village is not great, the surrounding neighborhood is VERY noisy, and the windows, even when closed, let this noise in. This was our fifth visit to Whistler, and the last one, this place has become too popular and over-developed for its own good, and we will take our money elsewhere. For us it was especially strong contrast after visiting Banff and Jasper that were both great places.
“lynx”
Can't wait to go back I wouldn't think of any other hotel: great location, good rates
“Whistler magic”
Summit Lodge in Whistler - a very nice hotel in a lovely town. Excellent service, staff very helpful and prompt. Rooms are very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. Hotel is right across the road from the centre of town, so very nice. One thing that would be nice is if the hotel could give breakfast, but they don't have the facilities. Maybe a bit pricey, but this is the same in all hotels in Whistler - actually very well priced compared to other hotels. We were very happy to spend our two nights here!
“Good Location. Sporadic Wifi”
For a first timer in Whistler, this is a great starter hotel. small pets are allowed, wifi and parking. small pool and spa. very convenient. The room is clean and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The only thing i dislike was the spotty wifi (probably the location of that room itself). The pool is cold but the spa is too hot (go figure?). i would go back to whistler and probably to this hotel.
“i would come back to this hotel”
The staff was incredibly nice and willing to help me with other reservations and directions around whistler. I would definitely stay there again. The room we stayed in was really nice with the little balcony and kitchen. we even had a fire place.
“Wonderful place to stay”
This is a great hotel for families, weekenders, long-stay vacationers. The check-in was prompt and they gave us information for the free wireless internet, the complimentary ski locker, and the shuttle to the lifts. We did use their parking garage which was also convenient (an additional fee, but worth it). The hot tub and pool were comfortable and easy to get to. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, as was the shuttle driver. The room was comfortable with the fireplace and kitchenette. We bought food at the local grocery store and ate in to save money. The kitchenette was stocked with pretty much everything you would need. I would definately stay here again!
