“Nice clean hotel in center of Whistler but can be cheaper.”
Overall nice place. Clean, nice view, very good location. Friendly employees. Night parking is additional 20$ which I think is a lot. Has bike storage.
“Great place!”
The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. It is within close walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and bars as it is on the village. The only complaint is that because there are bars close by, it was rather loud well after midnight both nights we stayed there (music and rowdy people). The good news is that with the air conditioner on in the living room area, most of the noise from outside was drowned out. Too bad we had to use AC when it was so cool out at night and we could've saved energy by having the windows open at night--if not for all the noise. We would definitely stay here again if in Whister again! Being at the base of lifts would be great during ski season!!
“Fantastic home-base for visiting Whistler, BC”
Impeccable room decor and amenities. Comfortable living space for sitting and relaxing, dining or sleeping all in separate areas at very reasonable price. Well constructed; we never heard any noise from adjacent rooms. Beautiful mountain views. Staff was 100% helpful with any and all questions, recommendations regarding dining, activities and phone numbers. Great internet access in rooms. Rooftop hot tub was lovely and pool was available at hotel nearby. Easy walk to all of Whistler Village attractions, as well as upper Village. Never a lack of things to do and see here if you enjoy outdoors/shopping/eating out. I would absolutely and whole- heartedly recommend this lovely boutique hotel!
“pleasant stay in a beautiful place”
Loved our stay at Sundial - central location to the village and steps from the slopes, though we were just a senior couple enjoying the food and ambience, of which there's plenty. The hotel is very confy, the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful, and we'll be back next year with our snowboarding son.
“Brilliant Hotel, friendly staff, will be going back!”
Everything was exceptional including the helpfulness of the staff, hotel location, hotel facilities, cost. Would definitely recommend to anyone for Whistler and will be staying here when I come back next year!!
“Will consider staying again.”
Other than the parking garage issue, I would recommend this hotel to others.
“Can't wait to go back!”
My husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The front desk workers knew who we were from the first day and every time we came in the lobby they asked us how our day was. They were very helpful when we asked them for suggestions on where to eat, what activities to do, etc. The rooms are very nice and clean. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom! We would definately stay here again and we can't wait to go back! I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or it's staff. We loved every minute of it!
“Very nice hotel - but very noisy at night”
Accommodations at the Sundial were first rate. Our room was on the 8th floor and gave us a commanding view of the mountains and lifts. The kitchen was well apportioned. The bedroom was cozy. And the living room was great for evenings in front of the fireplace. My only criticism - and for me it's a deal breaker - is that the restaurants/bars remained open, with music and loud voices, until 2:00 a.m. most days. The noise easily penetrated our 8th floor windows and kept us from sleeping. When I asked the front desk person about it, she replied "yes, this is kind of a party destination." So if you like a peaceful sleep, choose someplace further removed.
“Sweet whistler property”
Great property. Location is smack dab in Whistler Village. Rooms are spacious and clean. No complaints. Ski valet in the lobby.
“Superb location and excellent service. Look no further!”
Location, location, location! You're in the center of the village and action, action, action. The view is excellent. The hot tub on top of the building is rather small. The parking is not included and is spendy. 12-14 miles down the road there are are groceries, etc. All in all is a wonderful experience, well worth it!
