Lovely hotel, great location informal and friendly

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We only stayed one night but spent a great afternoon riding the chairlifts to the top of blackcomb mountain and then the peak to peak gondola which was amazing and well worth it. We even saw a brown bear from the chairlift which was so exciting our first one! We loved the deli/bakery in the hotel great coffee. We found the hotel staff very helpful during our stay. Our only disappointment that we couldn't stay longer.

A nice hotel in Upper Village

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Quiet area Convenient going Village for meals or shopping in a walking distance. Their employees are nice & friendly Hotel room is comfort
Cons: Maybe more crib options can be choose by different stages of your infant.
Location: A kid play zone is behind the hotel Some restaurants
This hotel located at Upper Village where it takes about 15 minutes walk to the Whistler Village(main). This area is quiet, and it's a good place to relax with your family. I went in the summer, therefore I guess environment will be totally different if in winter skiing season. Facilities: We saw an employee making cotton candy upon our arrival We went to swimming pool, there is a small one for the children indoors & large one outdoors. Hotel room. A comfort room with a 6 months old baby. We did call & request a baby crib right after we booked the hotel room. The crib itself it's sturdy, but it's not convenient to put your baby if you aren't tall enough and if your baby is not ready to sit.

Very nice hotel in the Upper Village.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location of hotel was good. Was a first rate hotel.
Cons: Extra charges for parking and Internet should be done away with.
Location: Plenty happening in Whistler -- children's Festival, Farmers' Market on Sunday.
The hotel was easy walking distance to The Village and to the chairlifts. Our room was comfortable and had a great view! First class hotel, all around.

Fabulous Anniversary Stay!

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Loved the work out room and the pool area. Felt pampered by the staff. Loved the fluffy robes.
Cons: The room was really nice and comfortable. The bathroom in our room was getting a little bit dated but was very large and functional.
Location: We brought our bikes and rode around the nearby Lost Lake and Village Trails. The hotel is in the upper Village.
We stayed for two days to celebrate our 24th anniversary. The service was excellent and the setting was fantastic! We particularly enjoyed the workout room followed by some lounging by the pool.

Not a luxury hotel

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Hotel is overrated. Paid too much for a dirty room. There was dust all over the furniture, tub had some red dye in it and there was dust and dirt under the counter in the bathroom.

Luxury in the mountains

Posted Jul 7, 2014
We had a lovely time. We were even lent two cribs. They were set up with sheets and everything. We were even given a baby cleansing kit. Staying there with our 6 month old twins was easy. Thanks to Fairmont!

Summer treat for adults & kids

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Excellent food. Excellent friendly service. Close to miniature golf course and lots of children's' activities. At base of Blackcomb Mountain and only 5 minute walk to Whistler Village. An ideal spot.
