The grounds are not well kept, but a pretty view nonetheless. The rooms inside were very clean. The TV worked fine. Basic older Motel. A little pricey for what you got but it seems everything has gone up a ridiculous amount and this was the most economical. Be prepared to wake up early little bit out of town so you'll have to drive back to get any food as there is nothing around this place to walk to except the Chevron gas station.

Do not be fooled by the exterior and surroundings. This is a very clean quiet place to stay.

So, this motel did what it needed to do for us ... it provided a *slightly* less expensive place to stay outside of Whistler, with "slightly" being relative because we paid over $200 for the night! The motel is old and funky, but it's pretty clean and didn't have bed bugs.

Quiet location close to Pemberton.
As someone who likes to cook, I was delighted with the cooker and microwave and some of the other kitchen equipment which other ‘self catering’ establishments do not provide. However, on the downside, the apartment was very dark-lots of trees behind the property which would be better removed to allow more natural light and the electric lighting could have been brighter. The bathroom could also do with an update. However, the bed was very comfortable and the sight of a bear out front one afternoon was a real bonus.

It was simple and well sized. The kitchenette was great and the king sized bed was great. Not a bad place for a short term trip where you’re not looking for great amenities

Not good for the price ($140 USD). Rodents running in the ceiling all night. The toilet is in a weird spot and I don't know how a bigger person could even use it. It was really close to the sink (Like 12" away) with the sink being directly in front of the toilet, not to the side. The room was clean and beds comfortable. If they can get rid of the rodents then it would be much better. I didn't see any evidence of rodents being inside the room. So that is good. If I were staying as a place to crash after a long hike I guess it's ok. If it was $80/night I would write a better review, but for $140 I expect better.

Very clean and surprisingly good amenities for a motel- we had everything we needed and more. Only recommendation would be to book an upper level suite if you’re planning to sleep in. We found it a bit noisy in the mornings being on the bottoms floor
