Forget the showerPosted Oct 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
There was sparse water and sometimes none. The second day we had only lukewarm water for a shower.

I'd go back againPosted Oct 8, 2012
There was a very nice older couple that greeted us upon our arrival. Checkin was quick and we were personally show to our room. It is a nice inn in a style somewhere between a B&B and corporate run inn. Breakfast was a very nice quaility, with Starbucks coffee and quality juices.

Cramped, cold and limited room featuresPosted Oct 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Stayed in cramped attic room showing some wear. Walls are acoustically thin. Room was clean but poorly sprung and noisy bed, no heat, no carpet (hardwood floor), no alarm clock, 1 side table, 1 dresser, TV, tiny bathroom, (1 ply toilet paper).limited hot water from shower, and limited service. If I had not prepaid, I would not have stayed here. Breakgfast was okay, but ends at 9:30am. Mt Washington and Jackson NH are reasonably close.

PoorPosted Sep 4, 2012
The bed was very poor, old room with damaged sealing and no warm water in the room. It looked like this room was not used very often.
Need to upgradePosted Aug 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
We loved the hotel as a whole but the room was tiny and had no a/c. The pool was right next to the room and a dehumidifier going off and on all night. With no a/c we were forced to keep our window open. The shower was an issue with lack of hot water. The staff were incredible and very friendly.

Extremely DisappointedPosted Aug 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were very disappointed with this Inn. The rooms were old, not rustic, old. The headboard was cracked/broken, no hot water, mould on ceiling, water stains on curtains from A/C, comforter was coming apart at seams.. didn't use pool as it didn't look clean. The young gentleman always served us breakfast and was wonderful. He is a definite asset to this Inn. For such a young man he is very in tune with the guests. Seems the staff was used to making excuses for the lack of care of this Inn. Staff was very nice, outside property was beautiful, swimming hole was a highlight. We didn't see any adult bikes, but saw kids. We were not in need of them anyway.

Great Location but needs some workPosted Aug 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Inn is in a great location with lots of natural features such as swimming hole, scenery, water falls on the property or nearby. Our first room was not acceptable with no hot water and an unconfortable bed but after we changed rooms, the situation improved. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly but when we asked about no hot water the first night we just received feeble excuses. With an upgrade this Inn has the potential to be a great place to stay.

Dana Place - just okayPosted Jul 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Dana Place needs some upgrades. Hall carpets are in bad shape, room was okay but small. Bathroom was small, including toilet, and it took a long time to get the hot water. Lastly the WiFi needs better coverage.

awesome experiencePosted Oct 2, 2011 on Hotels.com
We had such a great time at Dana Place Inn. I highly recommend staying here. The people working there are very pleasant and told us a lot of information about the tourist spots, as it was our first trip to New Hampshire, but not our last! The breakfast was included and I was pleasantly suprised at all the choices on the menu.
