Nice Inn. Wonderful owner.

Pros: The staff was friendly, and made you feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the rooms were comfy and homey.
Cons: The toilet in the bathroom had a loose handle, that is the only thing in this inn that was not perfect.
Location: There is tons of shopping for everyone less than a five minute walk up the road. There is great food clothes and coffee all with in walking distance.
The hotel was in a good location close to the shopping in the downtown area. There was a very relaxed atmosphere weather you were eating Arthur's delicious breakfast, or enjoying a bottle of the local wine on the front porch. This is an Inn I would go back to for vacation every year.

Comfortable stay, friendly atmosphere

Pros: We loved the atmosphere!
The Eastman Inn is a great place to stay. The Inn is very close to all shopping and attractions in North Conway. The Inn is well appointed and very clean. Our host was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We relaxed on the welcoming porch and made use of browsing through the many books and magazines available in the living room. The breakfast served was most enjoyable. We would stay again next time we are in or passing through North Conway.

So, So...

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Everyone was very nice.
Cons: I was disappointed there wasn't a soaker tub like my booking stated I was getting. Instead I got a standup shower that was uncomfortable and small.
Location: lots of restaurants and shopping.
I booked this place for me and my husbands weekend getaway. The main reason I picked this place was for the amenities and hominess. The booking information stated the room I booked had a deep soaker tub. We had expected to get what the website stated. When we checked in and showed to our room we were disappointed. We were given a room with a standup shower not a soaker tub and the room was located away from the main house along the side with no view of the mountains. The air conditioner did not work well either. I was really looking forward to a long soak in that tub the website told me I was getting. I spoke to other guests staying in the main house and they had a soaker tub. Only main house guests got the true B & B experience stated on the website. Bed was and old spring mattress and noisy, not something a young couple would like since the walls are paper thin. Our neighbor kept me up all the first night we were there. But the sheets were nice. Don't get me wrong, the staff was nice and the breakfast was ok, but I'm probably not going back for the fear of not getting what I paid for. For my first B & B it didn't scar me from trying others, I just think we'll try another place next time.

Close to Town

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The atmosphere. We felt welcome.
Cons: It would be nice to have access to ice for coolers and cold drinks for hiking.
Location: Perfect location--between the downtown area of North Conway and the shopping outlets while still being close to the White Mountains and Kancamagus.
This was the first time that my husband and I stayed at a bed and breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. The innkeepers were pleasant, respectful, and friendly. We enjoyed talking with the other travelers and watching the fireworks from the front porch. We were extremely impressed by the attention to detail throughout the inn and on the grounds--it felt like a home away from home. We didn't realize it, but the inn was between the downtown area of North Conway and the shopping outlets which made it the perfect location for us. We spent most of our time hiking in the White Mountains and driving on the Kancamagus Highway but once we cleaned up for dinner, we were close to dining and shopping.
