“LoVe This Resort have visited mnay times and will continue to visit. We just Love it here.”
This is our favorite place to stay in the White Mts. It has everything you'd want to do right there without leaving the hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a great view of the Mountains. Restaurant (dineer great breakfast was OK) A pool and hot tub inside and out. lake for fishing and paddle boats, hiking, automobiling, and entertainment in the lounge.. Something to do for all ages. We received a deal from Expedia the last tow times we stayed here. I recommend The Indian Head Resort.
“"Never gets old"”
I've been to Indian Head a few times, and it never gets old . I always have a great stay, the outside heated pool and view of the mountains doesn't get any better!!
“Looks old, feels cheap.”
This hotel needs an upgrade, urgent. Te restaurant was terrible, the game room is old and smelly. There is not even a nice lobby where to stay, everything looks old and cheap. The room was ok for a 2 stars hotel. Only one good thing: the lake with the boats and the mountains around.
“Great location, food not so good”
Hotel has been around forever but is in a great location if you are looking to visit the natural beauty in Franconia Notch. The rooms are comfy but there are some areas where the floors aren't completely level. Our balcony creeked a bit when we stepped out but we did spend time on it enjoying the view. The best thing about our visit was that is was "unplugged" - not easy for a 14 year old with an iphone, ipad and a laptop! The food was another story. We are not sure how they won awards. May have been an off time but we ate there twice and then drove 25 miles to a 99 instead.
“Loved everything but the breakfast wait staff.”
What a great time we had. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They had an ice cream social every night for the kids along with kids Karaoke and benie baby bingo some nights they even had kids entertainers. The rooms were clean the maids set up my daughters bed everyday with her stuffed animals what a nice touch. View was amazing of Indian head and out our back terrace we looked over the lake and mountains nice way to wake up everyday. The out door pool was warm and comfortable considering how cool it was while we were there. The dinner was awesome we ate in the bar area where the service was exceptional. My one and only complaint was the breakfast buffet TERRIBLE wait staff was slow my husband didn't get his coffee untill after breakfast and when I asked to order not from the buffet I was told that I should do the buffet as it was faster. All in all a great experience kid friendly and adults could also enjoy themselves. We will go back but instead of breakfast there we will go elsewhere.
“Great place, but LOUD”
Had a "lake view" room and it was a great value for the price paid. The room was remarkably clean and updated. The beds were comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom was nice. The huge tv was a bonus and the channel selection was by far the best I have ever had in a hotel in any town or city in the past 10 years. The only issue was the 7am wakeup "call" from the guy upstairs... I could hear him walking back and forth and everything he did. I could also hear the workers outside the balcony talking. It's an older hotel but VERY well maintained, so it's understandable. All in all, it was a fine stay and I would recommend this to others. The staff is wonderful and the bartender, Charlie, was outstanding. I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the room!!! If you are looking for a reasonably priced, great location, and CLEAN hotel stay, DEFINITELY stay at the Indian Head. You won't be disappointed!
“Summer and winter getaway”
Great place to bring kids. Very family friendly. Room was comfortable and updated. Food was good, service in restaurant excellent. Pools were not crowded.
“Perfect vacation spot”
My traveling companion and I were extremely pleased with our stay at the Indian Head Resort. Check-in was a breeze and our room was gorgeous, huge and spotlessly maintained. The 50" plasma HD TV was an added treat. We were treated with courtesy and warmth during every interaction with hotel staff which was a pleasure. The location was beautiful and so convenient to the attractions and sites that we wanted to visit. The only negative comment would be in our dining experience. While the dining room staff were very friendly and competant, the food itself was not up to par. We ordered simple pasta and meatballs and the pasta was not strained enough so our plates had alot of water which diluted the sauce. Also, the meatballs tasted like the frozen variety. Other than that our stay was spectacular!
“Almost Bad News”
The hotel loused up the reservation date on a weekend that No Rooms Available in the area was to be expected. Fall season plus the Highland Games!! We did obtain a room after some hassle, but it was not as originally booked. Not a happy experience!
“Best place to stay in Lincoln, NH!”
great mini vacation
