“Cozy & Comfortable”

We have stayed here many times and the rooms are always clean and cozy. It is a short drive to the outlets and restaurants. One of my favorite places to stay.

“Nice place for a family getaway”

We stayed in a loft suite for one night -- plenty of room and comfortable for a family of four. We missed the afternoon cookies, but had the continental breakfast in the morning and appreciated the homemade muffins. Having access to the canoes was really great! We took them out for an hour and a half on a beautiful morning. It definitely enhanced our stay.

everything was great, homemade muffins and afternoon cookies were excellent, breakfast items besides muffins were satisfactory didn't really expect inn to be on main road, picture and description made it seem more out of the way but was very comfortable, staff excellent i would definitely go back

“A nice little place to stay”

Very much enjoyed our stay at this little resort - little touches such as the cookie time made it a special place to visit. Great location situated as it is by the Kangamagus pass, near the Conway Scenic Railroad and just south of Storyland. Would definately recommend it!

“Very pleasant”

Had a nice stay here, quiet rooms, good breakfast, and just far enough outside of town that the price is more reasonable. It's close to the river, which is nice too, and seems to have a few different types of rooms depending on what you are looking for (we stayed in Dancing Bear, which is in the main building). Staff was available and friendly. For those that ride bikes, it is also in very close proximity to the end of West Side Rd, which you can use to connect a lot of different routes together. When we stayed there, we did West Side -> 302 -> Bear Notch to Kancamangus, then out to Lincoln, back to the end of the Kanc and the hotel was only a couple miles from there, was nice to avoid 16 through N Conway.

“Quaint and charming”

A very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Warm cider and cookies served in the afternoon were a nice touch. Enjoyed our stay here.

“It's OK”

I stayed there for 1 night only. The price was very good, that's why I picked it. Basically, it goes with the price. The room was spacious and comfy, a little outdated inside, bathroom is nice. The soaps and shampoos are of very good quality. There's a fridge and a table, but unfortunately no silverware. Then they even gave me some adventure pack (advil, 2 chocolate bars and something else in that pack). The breakfast was pleasantly surprising. The milk they served was good quality, real whole milk. The rest was ok, but good variety. The only minus thing: the staff was not very willing to provide information, like advise good trails or places to go. It's a minor thing, but adds up a nice touch.

“Plenty of space.”

Two of us had mattresses that were back-crippling. Lack of coffee makers in rooms is unnecessary frugality.
