I was really disappointed to find that the renovations destroyed the character of the hotel. The staff was not very friendly.

Why were there no bars to help get in and out of shower.???👎 There was not a handicap parking near entrance as ALL hotels have. What’s up with high beds and low chairs ???

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. Our ADA accommodations provide a lower profile bed, grab bars in the shower and around the toilet. Our handicap parking spaces are located next to our fitness center entrance where our handicap lift is located for easier access to the hotel lobby. Regarding the height of our chairs, I apologize if they didn't meet your expectations. We strive to provide comfortable accommodations for all of our guests, and we understand that preferences can vary. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to enhance our guests' experience.

This was my second visit to Mountain View and I loved it. They have a working farm where you can talk to the people caring for the animals and see all of the animals as well. The spa was beautiful and the staff very helpful.

Beautiful property, great for family and kids. My son loved the indoor pool and the farm tour. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was about half hour from the Ice Castles and also half hour to Bretton Woods ski resort, so pretty convenient to explore the area. We also really enjoyed the Littleton main st area 20 mins away.

This place is recently updated, and service and amenities were fantastic. We love the air hockey, ping-pong, billiards and foosball available in the basement floor. The pool was operational, but it was very disappointing that the hot tub was closed down before he arrived. I’ve had a twice surgically, repaired back and was looking forward to it.

We had a great stay and everyone was so warm and welcoming. I loved all the little nooks filled with books to borrow and the access to entertainment on-site. The farm was lovely and Spencer was so patient and engaged with our children and their billion questions. Overall a really great getaway, I wish we had stayed longer.

Truly Grand
Beautiful and majestic yet it doesn't take itself too seriously. Staff is outstanding as is the Tavern fare. Mountain View Grand is nestled in the Great North Country surrounded by small towns with a stunning view of the White Mountain region. Highly encourage a stay at this lovely hotel.

We have been coming to this property for several years and have stayed there about 4-5 times. It was the favorite getaway spot for my granddaughter, always. We went there for the last time last week (12/26 - 12/28/23) and will never return. The property was acquired by a new company during the last year and so many of the things that we found special are now gone. First, the lobby that used to have a real comfort and charm now looks like a Hampton Inn. The furniture is now quasi modern, uninviting and void of comfort. It's clear that the strategy is to discourage lingering there which for many; was a primary reason to visit. The free coffee and hot chocolate setup which used to be open very early in the morning for early risers is now gone. In its place is a one cup Kuerig. So if you rise early and want a cup of coffee, your only option is to make it in your room and wake the others who are not yet awake or go to local convenience store or simply wait until you can buy it for $4 in the dining room at a later time. If you want hot chocolate (like my 11 year old granddaughter), too bad. Not happening until later in the morning when we can buy it in the dining room. The pool, as always, is tired, run down and in bad need of a paint job. The staff with rare exception was rude and dismissive. When I asked a housekeeper if I could get a couple of glasses for the room, I was directed to the front desk. Bottom line: We go to the Omni Mt Washington Inn from now on.

They had the only restaurant within twenty miles and knew it. Their menu prices reflected knowledge of that captive audience and did not deliver decent quality or adequate quality. I ordered the Coq Au Vin and the server (who was excellent) corrected me “The chicken” - and he was correct. The dish was a separately cooked piece of chicken thigh placed into what tasted liked a bowl of spaghettios - for $37. My children had over cooked and overpriced burgers and fries. The billiards table needs refelting. It feels like faded former glory there.

Loved the location but if you are looking for quiet you won't find it here. Kids kids kids ! It is close to Santas Village . Kids running in hall and screaming ,pool crowded with kids, movie theater was all kids movies.If your looking for a quiet romantic weekend dont stop here.
