“Idyllic”

The innkeeper was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. The setting was idyllic...just what we were looking for.

“Would definitely go back...”

We stayed here for a few days in mid-June. Lovely b&b. Most likely one of hte nicest in the North Conway area. What stood out: The size of the bathrooms -- most b&bs have teeny, tiny, cramped bathrooms, but ours was spacious and well appointed. Lack of clutter -- the b&b had a comfortable homey feel without all the knick knacks of a lot of b&bs. The vibe was relaxing. The owner -- Rob was amazing and even got up at 5 am for us to fix breakfast as we were attending an event that started early. The downsides: The parking is tight. The neighbors in the condo next door were loud.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here. (My husband did not like bed & breakfast Places. Now he can't wait to go back .) The Inn was great. I highly reccomend it. The breakfast's were delicious. Rob is a great host. Thanks again for everything.

Everything you would expect and more in a B & B. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional gourmet breakfast, and the friendliest innkeepers ever. Wish we were closer and could visit more often. Absolutely outstanding!

“Wonderful experience”

The Red Elephant is easy to find and ideally situated close to shops & restaurants in North Conway. We visited in October 2011 and received the warmest of welcomes from Rob and his family, who offered us the run of the house with access to drinks, lounge, grounds and front porch. Breakfast was truly an event, with delicious fresh home-made fare served with panache. The old house was styled & furnished beautifully and makes and ideal base to visit the White Mountain. One point: not all rooms have chests of drawers; if you're staying more than a night or two, make sure you book a room with enough space to unpack and store your clothes!

“That's ok but not impressed.”

The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean. BUT! "SERVICE MIND" of an owner was not good. There was a microwave in the kitchen. I asked for using it just only 1 time. He didn't allow to use it. I would say the price for 1 night was quite expensive if I compared to his service. Internet was available in a common room but the owners sat there and drank wine. There was no space left for me. They saw me but they didn't say anything/didn't leave a room and let guest use a common room. I had to go back to my room without using Internet.
