A little gem

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Reasonable prices, clean and comfortable rooms, loads of information available about the local area.
Cons: An iron and a kettle in the room would be good.
Location: Close to mount Washington, the whole area was stunning, we were touring New England in the fall, and the countryside was awash with colour.
This is a family run motel, and they couldn't make you feel more welcome.

charming motel run more like a B&B.

Pros: friendly and efficient staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Beautiful views. Nicely landscaped.
Cons: everything was great.
Location: in the mountains of NH all kinds of things for people to do. We were in area for wedding. but Whitefield is close to several attractions.
We had a great stay. Went up for a wedding and found this place to spend the night. The check in was smooth and everything went even better from there. We had two rooms. One with double for our older children and one for us. Cookies put out in the lobby which were very good. Rooms were good size with room to move around in and nice and clean. They were well stocked with any incidentals that someone might need. Beautiful view off the back deck where we had breakfast which was included in the price. Owners were very friendly and we had a very nice stay. Plenty to do in the area although we spent majority of our time at a wedding close by. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in this area. The view in the fall must be magnificent with the colors.

Charming Inn with Great Hospitality

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Hospitality, cleanliness, location, charm
Location: Santa's village, hiking, railroad. I'm sure there's a lot more to do but we hadn't planned that far ahead since we were only staying the one night
We had reservations for one night at the Barron Brook Inn and although there was some mix-up with Expedia, the owners were quick to resolve it even though we were getting in very late. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable during our stay. Continental breakfast is included and the owner even made egg sandwiches for the guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The backyard is beautiful and my kids begged to stay longer so we could explore but we had plans to go to Santa's Village that morning which is only 15 minutes away. I would definitely book a longer stay here next time.

Made working in the area comfortable

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast had many choices.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: It is in the north country with wildlife that you can watch from the Inn.
I was in the area for a week on business and chose the Inn because of its close proximity to where I had to be every day. I found it to be very comfortable, a warm and friendly environment. Although it is in a rustic setting, it had excellent wireless service and television reception. As I do a lot of work in the evening, the wireless is important to me. It seems like a great place to take a vacation as well, lots of nature and wildlife around. I will go back for a vacation and some point.

The Barron Brook Inn

Posted Aug 21, 2013
Location: Close to Santa's Village, Mountain View Grand Resort
The owners were very nice. They helped us with our luggage, made a campfire for us and even provided the marshmallows. The rooms are a bit dated, but they are extremely clean! We would definitely go back.

Pros: The hospitality and friendly service.
Location: Beautiful location in the Great North Woods!
Awesome experience at this Inn! The Innkeepers were all extremely welcoming and accomodating and the Inn itself is in a beautiful location in the Great North Woods. I had friends and family staying at a nearby campground and the owner even said they were welcome to come over for the campfire at night! Highly recommended!!!

very friendly staff and very clean

We stayed here for a quick overnight as we were visiting friends in the area. We were looking for a clean place close by. This inn was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. This is a basic inn that could use some updating, but I would not hesitate to recommend it.
