Good overall impression of the Inn. Right in the middle of shopping (Settler's Green outlets), and amazing scenery (Mount Washington, Crawford Notch, etc). The breakfasts were great and the staff was very friendly. The Inn definitely has a 'homey' feel and reminded us of weekends at grandmas house. We used the hot tub every night and hung out by the fireplace with other guests we'd met at the Inn. All in all, very relaxing and cozy atmosphere.

Great historic inn
Posted Jan 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is a historic inn from the days of coach travel. Wonderful setting with loads of public spaces to use. The dining room is beautiful with excellent food. We used this for one night before before heading into the mountains backpacking. This would be excellent in the winter for cross country skiing or alpine skiing at nearby Cannon Mountain. The only negative was that our room had a primitive mattress but in good condition. We look forward to returning.

Highland Games Weekend
Posted Jan 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very very nice hotel / B&B. Larger than normal B&B but still had all the charm. Loved the fireplaces, reading rooms, game rooms... Breakfast was always wonderful; servers always friendly. After a long tiring day at the Games it was great to relax for dinner in the downstairs pub, play darts, sit in front of the fire, play cards, & just relax. Dinner upstairs in the dining room was a more formal environment. There's a shed full of bikes, a riding barn nextdoor; across the street were tennis courts, and a Glider Rental place w/grassy field / landing zone. Nice large porch w/comfy seating, granite slab steps - Very nice New England atmosphere.

Charming, pretty Inn but could use some updating
Posted Jan 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Inn looked beautiful upon arrival....so charming. Beautiful horse barn next door that offered horse back riding and according to the Inn they also do sleigh rides in winter! We received a very warm friendly welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the very friendly wait staff. Definately worth experiencing. They also have a pub but we never made it there. The room was very outdated and very small so we were dissapointed with that. With the exception of the dining room the whole Inn could really use some updating but we will definately be back. Very convenient location.

A Great Place To Stay After A Mt Washington Climb
Posted Jan 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
The outdoor jaccuzzi was fabulous, the whole area is beautiful..the food was excellent (breakfast was included!). The Inn was awesome and had several fireplaces, bikes for rent, horseback riding..great pool...wonderful and friendly staff. If you stay there, make the short trip to Littleton and stop by the Grist Mill - it's where the Franconia Inn gets their flour for their pancakes. The downtown area of Littleton has a lot of great shopping and it's only about 8 miles down the road. I can't wait to come back and stay again!
