Conviently located by the White Mountains.Posted Jul 13, 2014
On a road trip just passing through, Mary was very welcoming and makes a fantastic breakfast. After traveling it was perfect. There is a restaurant walking distance away, food and atmosphere were good.

Wonderful PlacePosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: I loved the way the originality of the place has been preserved and maintained over the years. Very comfortable and welcoming.
Location: Tucked away from most populated tourist attractions of the white mountains while still within a short drive of most. Staff helpful finking places.
I have to say that this place is one of the nicest bed and breakfasts. Beautiful architecture. Great location away from the busiest places. Super breakfasts, different each morning I stayed there and a great, pleasant, welcoming staff! The charm and wonderfully maintained hardwood floors, stained glass windows, furnishings ... I could go on and on. I wish I had been able to stay more than the three nights.

Wonderful hotel, great locationPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Proprietor very friendly and truly cares about the inn and the guests. The hotel is a turn of the century home with lots of character and charm.
Cons: Really liked this place. It is older so very difficult to change structure - room was a bit small but had everything needed, including internet.
Location: Location great. Two really good restaurants within walking distance so can have a drink and not worry about driving. Lots of hiking nearby too.
We chose Mulburn Inn because it had internet access (needed for business and was good access). It's a beautiful inn with lots of character. The proprietor is exceptional and cares very much about the comfort of the guests. Great location to very good restaurants (walking distance). Room was very comfortable and remodeled so had everything needed. Bed very comfortable. Recommend Mulburn Inn for business, and would go back for pleasure too. Lots to do in the area - hiking etc.

Mulburn Inn is absolutely wonderful!Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Beautiful historic home. Period furnishings. Clean! Very accomplished and welcoming Innkeeper! Excellent breakfasts, snacks!
Cons: Updated bathroom.
Location: Lovely town, great restaurants.
We loved our stay at the Mulburn Inn. We felt so comfortable and well cared for. Our room, The Madison, was absolutely the best. The bathroom is very small, but we did not find that to be a detriment at all. Mary, the innkeeper/owner, provided us a tour and glass of wine, as we settled in. The beautiful linens, bedding and towels, were so lovely and welcoming. Mary provided us with information to all the important skiing and recreational points of interest. Shall we mention the breakfasts? OMG!!! We loved loved loved the beautifully prepared and presented food and beverages. Mary provides lovely baked goods to snack on during the day, as well as coffee and tea!

Fantastic experience!!!Posted Feb 20, 2014
My daughter and I stayed over the weekend (four nights) and had great time skiing at Loon Mtn. We hiked on our last day which ended as a great adventure just before the storm hit the area. Mary, the owner, is amazing. Her breakfast was everything and more. Smell of freshly baked cookies made us feel instantly at home. This was our first B&B and our first visit to NH. What a beautiful country side. We highly recommend The Mulburn Inn to everyone. We would go back any time!

PerfectionPosted Dec 14, 2013
Pros: We enjoy every aspect about the inn.
This was an amazing experience we received a call the morning of our check in date just to see about what time we would be arriving and we're meet with fresh home made chocolate chip cookies. The inn keeper and owner of the inn, Mary, was simply amazing full of life, attentive, made us feel welcome at every turn. The house is cozy and warm and a piece of New England history. This isn't a normal bed and breakfast the rooms and beds are awesome and Mary's breakfast rivals any 5 star restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Great B&B!Posted Oct 15, 2013
Pros: The innkeeper, the beauty of the downstairs sitting areas, and the great breakfasts.
Cons: I would have liked more comfortable chairs in my room (we stayed in the Madison rom) so that hanging out in the room would have been an alternative.
Location: We were there during the fall colors. Franconian Notch area and the Flume in the White Mountains were outstanding. The Washington Hotel was impressiv
Great stay. The Inn is beautiful and has lots of famous people inn its history. The rooms were beautiful but the downstairs sitting rooms were the best and very comfortable. Mary was an absolute sweetheart. She made us very welcome and it was fun chatting with her. She made some great breakfasts as well.

Pros: Good food, quiet and friendly
Location: Quiet little town close to lots of train rides.
Cozy room, excellent food, and freshly baked cookies every day. Our hostess arranged dinner reservations for us, suggested places to go, and obviously loves her job. We plan to go back.
