“Fun and Friendly”

We were pleased with the decor and activities available at the inn. The staff was great - personable, friendly and helpful. Dining area was delightful and food good. We'd go again.

“I loved this place!”

As a solo traveler, I loved this place. It reminded me of a nostalgic rustic ski lodge that would take you back in time to the 1940's or 50's. Not everything is perfect here but that's what's charming about it. Breakfast is cooked to order. The innkeeper was very welcoming, hospitable and informative. It is located on Black Mountain in Jackson NH away from the commercial town of North Conway. Great base for autumn leaf peeping. If you're a skier it is located right next to an operating ski lift and various cross country ski trails. I will definitely return!

“Friendly Hotel”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The public areas were excellent as was the breakfast. Our only negative was the size of the room we had, it was very cramped. We did see bigger rooms in the Inn so if you are spending more than 1 night I would check out the room size before booking. Their adjoining pub is worth a vist, good food at a reasonable price.

“Sleepless in Jackson.”

Spent the night listening the wind howl and blow broken window glass around outside my dated, over-priced, cramped room.
