“OK place - good for the price”

I found this Hotel good value for money. We were looking for a suite with kitchen and enough space for a family of four. That's exactly what we got. The rooms were nothing special, but they were clean and comfortable. The Hotel amenities were great though - pools, sauna, playground etc.

“good value”

Nice place with several clay and paved tennis courts and several swimming pools. Well maintained. Lack of wifi and air conditioning are only drawbacks. It was pretty cool at nite, with good screens and fans, so sleeping was OK. Suggest renting bikes at Loon Mt resort across the street: van drops you off at Cannon Mt and you go 90% downhill through Franconia Notch (paved bike route) back to Loon Mt.

Area recommendations

Both the Village of Loon Mt and the Loon Mountain Resort (Mt Club at Loon hotel and Loon condo rentals) are very good.

“Nice Resort”

Very spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchen (including a blender!) and a fantastic view of the mountains from the balcony. Nice little fireplace and flatscreen in the living room as well. No AC in the rooms but they also came with two good-sized box fans, which was awesome. Most of our time was spent away from the resort but while we were there, we were definitely comfortable and relaxed. Great place to stay!

“Average lodging”

We stayed in a one br villa. It was clean and comfortable, basic decor. The bathroom needs serious update. It is located across the street from the slopes, so you either take the shuttle bus or your car.

“"It was great"”

It had all the modern conveniences of home, centrally located, close to main street shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our visit.

We chose to visit during the peak of the fall season to enjoy the beauty of God's creation. It was beautiful.

“"Go to" spot”

We've been to this condo complex a few times. It is a pretty good location. You can't really walk to anything....so you have to drive everywhere. My kids love this place! It has an indoor pool with a giant hot tub and the same set up outside. All of the units have private balconies (2nd floor and up) that overlook the side of the mountain. It's a really nice view. All of the units have flat tv's and dvd players and a gas fireplace, so that adds to the experience. The unit itself is a little "dated", but it's in good repair. It looks like it was built in the late 70's or early 80's. We'll definitely head back to this place next summer and maybe in the fall....off season from skiiing. This place is definitely worth the money

“Loon Mountain Great Resort”

The hotel has nice apartments and gorgous view. We stayed in one bedroom apartment type. The kitchen was clean and so were the rooms. I in fact got a cheaper price from expedia for this accomodation and I did not expect to get such a great accomodation in that price. This place is close to all the attractions. I very much liked the stay, tennis courts, indoor pools, arcade, sauna etc. all inclusive in the price. I would recommend this place. There is no AC - so hot days of summer you should avoid, otherwise place is at the foothill and nice breeze soothes all the time. I went end of August and it was not warm, no need of AC. However, in scorching heat, you may avoid. There is shopping complex close to the place - that includes similar place like Shoprite and you get everything there cheap. No need to carry any grocery.

“Very nice stay.”

Village of Loon was a very nice experience for my family. Would definitely stay there again. The only thing to note would be the bathroom needs updating.
