Pros: Very nice new design, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: The quality of the sleeper-sofa mattress is pretty bad, even IKEA has much better sleeper sofas these days. But the King sized bed was good!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The interior is nicely designed, the breakfast was good, we had a quiet room facing the forested hill on the back of the hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful.

QUIET COZY HOTEL"

Pros: Price, which is always very important, honest friendly people, quiet and clean, easy parking and no after charges
Location: Actually, not wanting to stay in the Bronx or in Manhattan, this hotel is only about 15 minutes by car to see the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Garden
Staying often in this area on weekends and visited almost every hotel around, found this the Hampton Inn a very price worthy place. Two weeks prior we stayed at the Marriott on a weekend for a price of $129.00 after our stay received on my statement an additional charge of $40.70 stating we had breakfast. I was told by the receptionist upon signing in breakfast was included, well that was the end of visiting this hotel again, even writing to the CEO as I was told by fellow Trip Advisor Reporters, did never hear a word again from them. To make it short we stayed in the Hampton Inn on April 7 to April 8 and the price was $129.00 included with breakfast, nice comfortable room, quiet and cozy, a large king size bed and a clean bathroom with plenty of clean towels. Our stay was pleasant and the breakfast a lot to choose from, must say it was a pleasure and we will from now on only go to the HAMPTON INN.

buisness trip

Pros: easy to find not far from town restaurants galore
Cons: only problem was the rooms in front can hear the highway
Location: easy on and off thru way near town walking distance to restaurants
hotel staff very friendly, clean rooms. breakfast very plentifull

Almost entirely positive-except TV

Pros: Comfortable room. Good free internet. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Constant pixilation on TV. Unresponsive TV menu. Screen frequently went black. I have had repeated TV problems at this hotel repeatedly.
Comfortable. Clean. The staff is nice. Good breakfast with some day-to-day variety. Heating units are noisy. TV service is almost completely unacceptable on multiple visits.

Very nice close to everything

Pros: The staff was friendly and made everything easy.
Check in was easy. free parking, a little area where you can get snacks, if you forgot something call the front desk, very quiet, nice breakfast included, check out was easy. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice decor and comfortable rooms

The decor in the lounge area near the main lobby is very nice and rooms are comfortable. The breakfast could have been better, but it's the usual for all hotels. Overall a good stay!

They gave away my room.

They gave away my king bed room. Probably to someone they could charge more for it. They lied and said Expedia downgraded me.

Mostly pleasant.

Facility is nice. Staff is pleasant. Hot breakfast nicer than some others and there is day to day variety. Free wireless internet is good enough that you do not need to pay for the available upgrade. Heating units are noisy. The TV system (not he TVs themselves) is a horror. Pixelation. Stations blacking out. System rebooting in the middle of watching. This has occurred on multiple visits to this facility. My only real complaint. Would still return. In fact I will be there this weekend.
