Room w as tired, carpets stained, frayed, tiny bathroom, no robes, stains on chairs...VERY disappointing! Massive crowds, slow room service, exlensive extra add-ons not requested...POOL not clean, cold jacuzzi

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Needs massive updating, from signage to maintenance to decor. Employees seemed well-meaning if not performing at top efficiency.
Location: Close to Westchester County Airport and all Westchester towns, plus New York City.
Stayed here because of Hilton's location close to a family event and predictions of sleet and snow. Approaching from the west, the sign to hotel was not even visible from Westchester Avenue. No offer was made for valet parking or assistance with luggage during check-in in a driving rainstorm. Room was clean, but floor lamp was coming unscrewed from its base and robe hook in bathroom had been torn off the door. Fitness center equipment seemed OK but the ladies' room there lacked lockers and an immense stack of wet towels showed that Housekeeping doesn't check in there very often; makes me question cleanliness. The long hallways lack signage and I could see how a little kid could easily get lost en route to lobby or pool. Employees in restaurant and at front desk seemed very cheerful, which mitigated the slightly tattered 1960's ski-lodge decor and atmosphere.

Pros: Its Location to were I needed to be.
Cons: Maybe some security would help. My room had no refrigerator and I booked 2 months out. Felt like I got ripped off.
Location: The Capitol theater is close and we stayed because we were at a concert.
Loud and noisy. Dogs running loose in lobby. Hair in my bed from someone else.....disgusting.

Pros: Shuttle to/from the Capital Theatre was outstanding; so much so that the Hilton is the place I will go back too.
Cons: The shuttle to/from the airport was irregular and could not keep their very optimistic schedule. If my flight had not been late, I would have missed
Location: Nice walks to downtown Port Chester. There is a sculpture garden near by.
Went there for a concert @ the Capital Theatre. The staff was very accommodating to all of the guests that were there for the event.

Terrible, nickel and dined for lame dirty facilities and a bar wait staff that was the slowest I've ever experienced. Really horrible experience.

Pros: spacious room + available pool
Cons: Larger Bathroom/prefer when vanity/sink area is outside of the tub/shower area - allows 2 persons to use facilities better. Offer free breakfast
Location: Excellent re: the location of daughter's family
accommodations were excellent, but was unable to spend much relaxing time in room, due to family's numerous Christmas activities

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Tear the hotel down, start from scratch
Location: Located in a suburban location 60 minutes outside central Manhattan in Westchester County, New York. Easy travel into NYC via car or metro rail.
My first impression of the Westchester Hilton was one of exasperation with the design of the hotel. It was clearly designed by an architect with no sense of how to organize floors, wings, or stairs/elevators in a manner to facilitate ease of wayfinding or navigation. It took almost 15 minutes of wandering endless corridors just to get to our room. When we arrived, we found the room already occupied, with luggage and personal items still in the room. Front desk staff were apologetic, but it then took another 1/2 hour to get to another room in another wing of the hotel. Unfortunately, the new room only had full-sized double beds, as opposed to queen-sized as we had booked; when we called the front desk, we were told no more queen rooms were available, unless we want to return to our old room, which they didn't seem to believe actually had guests in it already. Ultimately we were provided with breakfast vouchers to placate us, though the desk staff were less than openly apologetic for the trouble. At least the breakfast was excellent...
