This hotel was lacking in the very basic of amenities. There was no bath mat, no plastic liner for the ice bucket, no pens or pencils, no notepad, no information about surrounding restaurants, a burn hole in the comforter, two very tiny pieces of soap, no shampoo or lotion, very. very thin towels, no heat that you could control in the room, etc. It was however, very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was DirectTV, a microwave and refrigerator, but otherwise, pretty basic accommodations. However, its the only game in town. Probably because of that it was a bit pricey for the accommodations. The only other place you could get lodgings was a bed and breakfast several miles away. Not knowing the surrounding area, we took what was there. We are pretty hardy folk, so it really didn't matter to us as long as it was clean (and it was). But fussier folks would have taken one look and turned around and left.

Hotel is in two parts: One side of street is senior citizens center/assisted living. Other side of street is hotel. Room is large, with sink, microwave, refrigerator and stove. Nothing is new, but it's clean, pleasant and reasonable. A good deal via Expedia pricing. Located 2-3 to main downtown street (Mamaroneck Ave.), so convenient. A McD is half block away. Small continental breakfast is included, however. Staff is unusually pleasant and courteous.
