Convenient hotel

Very convenient to most of sights. Only problem was forest fire that kept us from seeing the prettiest part of park. Disappointing.

Nice hotel in a nice town near Glacier

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Quit location away from Park activities and traffic.
Location: Great downtown (Whitefish) with great places to eat.
I little extra driving-but well worth getting away from Glacier and cities near the park. Nice staff that gave us good information on where to eat and options for things to do.

Nice place to stay

Unfortunately, a little outside of walking distance to the shops and dining options of downtown, but a quick drive and easy parking gets you there all the same.

Nice hotel, nice pool! Close to DT Whitefiah.

Very nice pool and hot tub! Spacious, comfortable room. The bed was fine but felt like a typical hotel matress. The matress definitely could have been more comfortable. About a two minute drive to DT Whitefish. Go to the Buffalo Cafe!!!

Not bad, but not exceptional

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable, good breakfast and nice staff
Cons: Charge much less for Annex rooms
Location: Very close to downtown Whitefish and close to the ski resort - great location. Glacier National Park is just 20 min away.
I've stayed in a lot of different hotels and I typically have good experiences, and this wasn't bad at all, but the value was not good. If I'm going to spend $159 a night, I expected to have a pretty decent room. This hotel has an "annex" building, which is basically an older "motel" unit with rooms that open to the outside of the building...that's where our room was located. There are about 5 or so upper units and the same amount of lower units in this annex building. The building is a bit old. Our room was clean and bed was fairly comfortable, but the bathroom was very tiny and toilet so low to the floor, it was almost painful to sit on. To me, this Annex building should have room prices in the $80-$100 at normal pricing, not as a discounted price, just by the simplicity of the accommodations. The room wasn't offensive, I just thought it was a poor value. The staff was nice, and the breakfast was provided was good, and the neighborhood was good. The annex building rooms are just over-priced.

Very convenient to Glacier Park

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: The hotel was very comfortable; breakfasts were great. All the facilities in the hotel were very nice.
Location: The main reason for coming to this area was to enjoy Glacier Park. Enjoyed the beauty of the area.
Enjoyed the town of Whitefish; restaurants were very good. The shops were delightful. Just a very quaint town. Glacier Park was close by and sight seeing, and hiking were excellent

Hotel is right off hwy 93, easy to come and go, only 3-5 mins from downtown. The continental breakfast was good, the pool was clean.

Pros: How comfortable our room was and the great location.
Location: Glacier Park!
We stayed at the Rocky Mountain Lodge during a visit to Glacier Park and the surrounding areas. Very comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out. Great location. Free laundry facilities. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Immaculate condition throughout. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant experience

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed and nice towels. Spacious.
Cons: Heating Nd air conditioning system
Location: Very convenient location.
This hotel is top notch. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The heating and air conditioning system are a bit noisy for sleeping. I will stay here again in my future trips to Whitefish.
