Pleasant stay out of the way

Posted Aug 21, 2013
Location: The neighborhood is quiet. In Bigfork is the summer theater, lots of shopping and Flathead Lake is just down the road.
We really enjoyed this place. It is a few miles out of Bigfork, but easy to get to. The owner has very nice, and the breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of parking in their own lot. The facility was clean, with nice touches like extra hooks in the bathroom to hang your dirty or clean clothes.

Unfriendly and inhospitable

Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have never had such an unpleasant and awkward B&B experience. "Self CheckIn" followed by NO interaction with the innkeeper until breakfast at which time there was still no greeting nor inquiry as to how the room was - only a Brian why do you want when I approached the counter with coffee cups. Rooms have not been updated in 30 years and there was no mention that it is adjacent to a local landing strip. Don't waste your money ($200+) on this place!

Clean, Comfortable and Peaceful

Posted Jul 17, 2013
Pros: We loved the peace and quiet of this hotel.
Cons: There was nothing we would change.
Location: The Candlewyck Inn is very easy to get to and there are many activities in the surrounding area.
This hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew we were in for a wonderful experience. Our room was so comfortable and welcoming. Megan always made sure we had everything we needed and offered lots of information of the surrounding area. She is a fabulous cook and our breakfasts were delicious and filling. We sat outside on the porch in the evenings, watched the deer and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We know we will be back to the Candlewyck Inn!

Wonderful Experience at the Candlewycke Inn!

Posted May 13, 2013
Pros: Bed, jacuzzi tub, food, atmosphere, surroundings, host
Location: Great location close to Bigfork, but far enough out to feel removed and relaxed.
The Candlewycke Inn is an absolutely lovely B&B! We stayed in the Glacier room - extremely spacious, with a jacuzzi tub and one of the comfiest king sized beds I've ever slept in. Megan treated us wonderfully, and the breakfast was delicious. Beautiful surroundings capped off what was a really enjoyable stay in Montana. The Candlewycke Inn is highly recommended and a great value for the price.

Beautiful and comfortable

This bed & breakfast is a lovely big house, full of interesting furnishings, and the owner does a great job of making people feel welcome. It was very quiet when we were there, and we found good restaurants a short drive away in Bigfork. Less than an hour south of Glacier National Park, is was the perfect place for us to stay before a visit there.
