Room size is pretty small, kitchenette is almost useless, too far from the Glacier N.P.

Overpriced.

This is nothing more than a flophouse for ski bums. Cramped rooms. No elevator. Poor air.

If you want old mountain house feel at top of mountain this is the place. Unfortunately surrounded by yuppie condos. But nice rooms and staff. I bit far from main road and town. Will not drive the winding road to and from at night.

Pros: Nothing really
Cons: The entirererty is tired, even a little shabby. Staff for most part was ok, but at check out there was no "How was your stay, please come back"
Mediocre, not a 3 star, let alone 4 star. That's all I have to say. This survey is irritating me. Why can't I submit it as I originally wrote it??

Better suited for a winter stay

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Kandahar would be awesome in the winter due to it's location on big mountain ski resort. During the summer I would prefer to stay in town.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 9, 2014
We stayed here in the summer so it was a bit out of the way from most activities we wanted to do at Glacier National Park. I'd probably find a place a little less out of the way if we go back in the summer again. I'd certainly stay here if we came back to go skiing on the big mountain. The hotel itself was nice and the beds super comfortable. We had noisy neighbors above us that we complained about twice. In the hundreds of nights I've spent in hotels these were the noisiest people I've ever had adjacent to me. The front desk person went up their both times to listen to the noise but I do not know if they actually told the people to keep it down cause they never got quieter. They said it was not uncommon in the summer.

We Loved our Stay!!

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Cozy!
Location: How can you top Glacier Nat. Park?
Everything was excellent. Gary at 4:00 am was courteous and prioessional on July 6, 2014.The breakfast at 4:00am was a pleasant surprise as we prepared for our drive to Missoula for an early flight.home to CA. On July 3, 2014, we had a lovely dinner in the Snug Bar. Our waitress was fabulous!! We'll be back!!

Okay hotel within view of whitefish

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The bartender was nice and made good drinks, the bed was comfortable.
Location: Whitefish is awesome place to visit.
The hotel/lodge is nice but the room was dirty. Sunglasses and a half drunk water bottle under the bed and a dirty couch.

Nice resort. No elevators.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Staff was very accommodating with a mixup between expedia and the hotel. Great advice on what to so in the area. Nice breakfast. Only downside was no elevator for three floors of the lodge.
