Nice, quiet location for relaxing stayPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Room was beautiful.
Cons: Pool service
Location: Glacier National Park
Hotel is very nice. Beautifully decorated in a gorgeous setting. Only improvement would be to pool service/maintenance was lacking - very slow, no clean-up, towels always empty.

Not worth the money they charge.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: It was a nice room. Beautiful bathroom.
Cons: The rates. Maybe they could tell you that you are going to stay a block from the lake.
The name is Lodge at Whitefish Lake so maybe you think for the money that you are spending you might actually see some water. Nope. We were across the street with a pretty nice view of the parking lot. Room was nice - bathroom took up half of it. We stay in a lot of hotels and this was not fair value for what was charged. Good ol supply and demand. Tourist town in the middle of July.

Beautiful Rooms and Great StaffPosted Jul 13, 2014
The rooms at the Lodge are elegantly designed. I have nothing but high remarks: staff was extremely friendly, food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and very reasonable, and a lot of little touches such as the 2 types of bath towels (soft or hard) pending your preference.

Northwest spirit and decor with mountains and lakePosted Jul 10, 2014
Cons: The dining room staff and kitchen seemingly were overwhelmed both at dinner and breakfast. Service was exceptionally slow and forgetful.
Location: Outdoor mecca and the grandest National park (Glacier) within easy driving distance.
The hotel is ideally located with many rooms providing at least a partial lake view. Free Valet parking is convenient and the staff is gracious and accomodating. We were given a 'loft suite', which had 2 queen beds, but with full condo accessories, including a kitchen with wine refrigerator, fireplace and washer and dryer! Robes and black teddy bear were a nice personal touch. The staff loaned me an iphone charger, which I had forgotten. Overall a pleasant experience and within easy driving of Glacier National Park.

Great VenuePosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location, Clean, and Great Food Plus they ran a shuttle into town so we never had to fight the parking lot again!
Cons: The Parking situation, and a TV remote.
Location: The hotel is right on Whitefish Lake, so it has tons of water sports available, there is a very nice running trail along the road to town. GREAT
Our room was in the Viking Lodge, which is still under construction. We did not mind that, as it made the room cheaper, but the pool & work out room were not open yet, and you could smell the new paint. The walk way over the road to join the two hotel locations was kind of cool, but more than once we kind of got lost as it is not obvious where to go, I think it would be confusing to most folks. The restaurant is GREAT! The pool, bar and location on the lake are OUTSTANDING. The only two down side to the whole stay was the parking and no remote control for the TV in the room. There was a wedding going on that weekend and it was very hard to find a parking space. We circled the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for a space, it was quite cut throat. We discovered no remote for the TV after a long day of sightseeing. We wanted to catch up on the news, but no way to turn on the TV. We called the front desk, but no one ever showed. All in all, it was a very clean, very nice, very expensive night, and worth it.

Great hotel customer service! Great views!Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Really liked the staff, views and cozy and comfy feel - home away from home.
Cons: Hallways could have a little more light.
Location: The Lodge at Whitefish is located near Glacier National Park - an easy drive - and horseback riding. Downtown has some nice shopping, restaurants.
The entire staff at the hotel including the restaurant staff were phenomenal, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Highly recommend this hotel! Superior service but not stuffy - very comfortable and cozy feel. Serene.

We just got back from Montana last night at 11:00 PM and we had a wonderful experience! The lodge was very nice and the people were very friendly and accomodating. We loved Whitefish and Kalispell MT. and my husband said if were younger he would think about moving there! The scenery in Glacier was breath taking and we enjoyed our stay very much!
