Glacier NP visit

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Our room was a nice size. View of mountains from room was nice.
Cons: I would like to have more info on local running routes. I run ~4 miles daily and like to have a safe, well defined running route.
Location: Glacier NP, excellent hiking and sight-seeing
Good location relative to Glacier NP. Reasonable bang for the buck in tourist area.

Ok for a short time

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Hotel was quiet.
Cons: The breakfast.
Location: Location was right along hiway on the west side of Columbia falls. Lots of amenities.
Hotel was ok. Nothing fantastic. TV was small and the cable/satalite was. Fuzzy on some channels. Over all for the price and a short stay it was a Ok hotel to stay in. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was poor. But there was a A&W next door also close to two gas stations.

Served the purpose of comfort for a one night stay

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Location worked well.
Cons: They need to mark parking spots for each room by number. Since license numbers are recorded it would be no issue to ask a guest to move.
Location: We were close enough to Glacier Nat. Park. Had to drive to dinner.
I booked this motel on Expedia, on line and the person was very helpful. I called about a late arrival and it was all set. I asked for a first floor room and parking out side the door for our motorcycle which was extremely important. Upon arrival the booking was in order however the room was upstairs. The clerk was very gracious and found us a room that was appropriate. the only problem we had was leaving for dinner and upon return someone who did not have one of the four rooms took one of the parking places and the clerk could not do anything about it. Very disappointed in the parking situation. the room was comfortable, the environment was quiet, the breakfast was sufficient and we left early the next morning. I reported the sink stopper as broken and the toilet seat being loose. The TV reception was not clear.

On the road to Glacier National Park

Pros: Quiet although on the highway.
Location: Just outside of town but many roadside places to eat. Hungry Horse Dam, Glacier NP.
Quiet, first floor accomodation, good parking, on the main highway.

Nice but smelly

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The size of the room. The comfort of the beds.
Cons: They need to fix the ac unit I. The room, the smell in the room that now exists because of the leaking water is not pleasant.
Location: It is located very close to the west entrance to glacier national park.
The room overall was ok. They had a decent breakfast. But the room had a terrible smell to it when we arrived and if you turned on the air it soaked the floor all over. We told the front desk staff and the only was they addressed the issue was to give us a towel for the floor. It was a nice size room, but for what I paid, I have stayed in MUCH nicer accommodations all over the world. The only benefit of this hotel is the location to Glacier National Park. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Disappointing for price

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Continental breakfast very disappointing-not any fresh options-the area 'speciality' was peanut butter. Carpet wasn't very clean in the room-old Chapstick found by the end table.

good hotel with large well equipped room

Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: large room. clean. good breakfast
Location: garage next door sells most things, there are some other stores but across the busy main road, recommend you take provisions with you
we stayed two nights here although the road was busy it was a good hotel for a couple of days. The breakfast was good, room large and clean, staff helpful and polite. A good choice for a stop over but not a long stay as the location is not good for hiking .

Comfortable lodging near Glacier National Park.

Posted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: Near the west entrance of Glacier National Park.
We stayed 6 nights at the Super 8. We enjoyed the continental breakfast in general. The coffee needs a lot of improvement. There was a lot of light leaking into our room around the hallway door at night. The shower was squealing with air in the pipes. Otherwise, the accomodations were fine. The housekeeping was well done and the front desk staff very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our trip.
