Western InnPosted Jan 3, 2015
Cons: Whole room needs updating and its very dark inside- lighting could be improved.
Bed sheets were dirty. No natural light so room felt dingy. Close to town, good location. No phone in the room.

good hotel for a "base camp"Posted Jan 3, 2015
we used this as a base camp for visiting family in the area & exploring Glacier & the flathead valley. Te kitchenette made it easy to make food & keep expenses down. Not a fancy place, but cute & clean with friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel for the pricePosted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: Big rooms, clean, quiet, couldn't hear neighbours
Cons: Showers took about 5-7 miss to warm up and never got terribly hot
Location: Not much around the hotel. Would need to drive for food. Easy to find though
Room was quiet and clean and very big. Only thing missing was soap for the bathroom and beds weren't that comfy. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, close to West GlacierPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Location and reasonable rates.
Cons: Iron stain in the bathtub that I was able to wash away with my foot, but otherwise the room was very clean. Bathroom fan was a little loud.
Location: Near West Glacier, nice location to Glacier and the Flathead valley.
We mainly only stayed at night because we had plenty of exploring to do in the day. Didn't mind that there wasn't a pool.

West Glacier gateway motelPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was my favorite motel during my October visit to Glacier National Park. People in the office were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family suite with 3 double beds, 1 bathroom, and full kitchen. Location is about 15 minutes from West Glacier with a rented car. Grocery stores and restaurants within easy driving distance. Nearly everything that you need can be found in Columbia Falls. Kalispell and Whitefish are a short drive away for extended shopping. The motel is an older motel and decorated to give one a feel of home away from home, safe, clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi, although signal was inconsistant at times. I would stay here again to revisit West Glacier.

Off-season goodnessPosted Oct 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Off-season visit, so the hotel was missing some of the amenities, but was still a nice, clean place to stay, especially for the off-season price.

Near the ParkPosted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Being off season the motel was very quiet. So quiet that the office is open from noon till 8 pm. The bed was comfortable enough and the room is fairly large. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine running however. You have to be very small in stature to be able to shower comfortably. The tub surround is fairly thick so the width of the shower area is quite narrow. The included breakfast wasn't served in the dining room with the slower season. Instead it consists of a muffin in a bag, a cinnamon bun in a bag, a granola bar and a juice box of HiC. Not much of a breakfast.

Glacier Park Hotel in Columbia FallsPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Glacier National Park
Cons: Room #39 should be used for something other then lodging.
Location: Glacier National Park!
We booked this room for a GNP visit on Oct 19th, 2014. The hotel is located close to the park entrance which is convenient, but that was about the only highlight. We were given room #39...If you book this hotel, do not accept this room!!! It's not located in the main building, appears to have been added to the inventory and hasn't been maintained. The floor was swept, but the wall moldings were very dirty. The single rug didn't appear to have been well vacuumed. The lighting was a large white fluorescent on the ceiling, with a small lamp on the table...either blindingly bright or very dim in the room. The bed was soft with a somewhat "taco" feel to it...seemed I was always trying to roll away from the middle. The hotel's located on Hwy 2 East, which is very busy with large truck traffic all night, consequential it's very noisy and made sleeping tough. Overall, this room was unsatisfactory, the others may be better.

Great hospitalityPosted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a great little hotel for the price. The two separate rooms worked well for our family providing enough space for everyone. The hot water situation was a bit of a problem. It just didn't ever get hot, warm, yes, but there was no nice hot shower to be had even after the water running for quite some time.:( The location was perfect. It is just about halfway between Glacier Park and Whitefish. The snack bags in our room were such a comfort and a great treat.
