We liked the resort a lot. Well thought out and family oriented. We were traveling on motorcycle and they were very accommodating.

Unique property. Excellent staff and fabulous location for visiting Glacier Park and close to Whitefish also. Very relaxing after a busy day.

Good motel in excellent location

Posted Jul 18, 2014
The location was excellent. Just outside West Glacier and within a short drive to the Glacier NP. The facilities are standard motel fare, reasonably clean and equipped. It does come with a functional kitchen and utensils and can save money for those who choose to cook. The surrounding area including Columbia Falls, Whitefish has excellent restaurants.

Look no further

Pros: nicely remodeled
Cons: bathroom needed sweeping
Ended up with a 2 room unit with a fridge and microwave! Reasonable price and not too far from Glacier. Don't forget to check out the view from the Flathead bridge, just around the corner!

very nice place, convenient to Glacier

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Friendly, family atmosphere with play areas for the children. Offers laundry facilities, ice, etc. The staff was very willing to help.
Cons: The breakfast could use some protein and fruit.
Location: It's a 25 minute drive to West Glacier, and that is the main attraction. The scenery is beautiful.
The staff was helpful and the room was comfortable. The drains were slow, but everything else was very good. The breakfast offered no protein or fruit, but that is not uncommon.

Sub standard

Old and dated furnishings. Leaky kitchen sink. No hot water. Not a comfortable room configuration. No end tables next to beds. TV hard to watch from beds. If you want to have a cigarette you have to walk a long way across the property.

Next door to GNP

The Western Inn is an older hotel. Our room has a musty odor to it. It was also surprisingly warm in the room, given that the outside temperature was around 50 degrees overnight. We ran the air conditioner to cool the room down, as none of the windows open. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was ok.

In a nutshell....

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Location: Right in the middle of everything and about 30 minutes from Glacier National Park.
Great experience. Friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Facility looked like it had just recently been renovated. I felt very safe. Good area. I'd stay there again! And again!
