Good hotel in Downtown Whitehorse.Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Very helpful staff and great location. Very comfortable rooms and beds.
Cons: Wifi internet should be provided for free.
Location: Right in the downtown. Many restaurants and bars located within 2 blocks.
We stayed three nights and it was very good overall. Very helpful staff and great location one block away from Main street.

Nice hotel in the downtown area near the river.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Neat building, clean, good bed, friendly staff, close the riverwalk, in downtown area. Pictures on the walls tell of the history of the town.
Cons: Room could use a better chair for relaxing off the bed.
Location: River walk is very pretty. The SS Klondike museum paddleboat is something to see! Very cool vessel. Downtown has many little shops to wander thru.
Was able to find the hotel in the downtown area. The restaurant is good, the lunch menu has some tasty items. There is a bar around the divider of the restaurant with local brews on tap, as well liquor and wine. My room was nice, clean and modern. Wi-Fi is available and quick. The view from the second story window was great, looking at the mountain past the river.

Good quality hotel in central locationPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Free Wi Fi
Location: Centrally placed
Spent a couple of nights here en route to and from Dawson. Free shuttle from airport very welcome and hotel reception staff could not have been more helpful. Central location makes it easy to walk to most places.

No way to adjust temperaturePosted Jul 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel had a great location, but we could not get the temperature adjusted and were told that there is no room adjustment, only one setting for the whole hotel.

good choice in small city like WhitehorsePosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: location, facilities, staff
Cons: shuttle bus of the city ( I waited for extra 15 minutes as scheduled)
Location: good. close to main street, the only street for shopping, close to waterfront, close to all the good restaurants
Maybe the best one in this city. Feel like at home. Nice staff, good facilities, impressive shows.

I asked if there was a Continental breakfast-meaning a breakfast included with the room, and they didn't know what I was talking about. So after eating I found out I had to pay for it. They should be more informed and explain more fully.

Nice centrally located hotelPosted Jul 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall it was good, the room was clean, hotel staff was great. I did advise the front desk at checkout that we had just noticed a pair of men's underwear in the closet on the floor. My son informed me they were not his. Eek.

Convenient as it is in downtownPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The workers
Cons: Update rooms. Furniture needs paiting and fixing
The staff was very helpful and respectful. They enhaced the experience of being in white horse as they provided among other things, valid information about places to visit and directions to get there.

Not the best choice in townPosted Jun 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is very busy with tours so they don't treat the single traveler very well. They have better rooms but you never know what you are going to get. They charge for internet that does not work. Staff are not trained very well and you get lots of blank faces at the counter. In general its an ok choice to stay but it is over priced and should be your 3rd or 4th choice in Town

Will stay againPosted Jun 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall good.... BUT they are still lingering to the 5 year old fact that they have a better wifi system and want to charge. I booked through Hotels.com - so the front desk guy saw this and I got free..... but you might be charged for it. A newspaper at the door would have been nice... It was a good stay and the hotel has a decent restaurant with good breakfast options. I liked this hotel the best... I have stayed at almost all the hotels in Whitehorse.
