“Very nice”

The receptionist changed my room from upstairs to a downstairs by the exit door so I could frequently check on my animals in the car. I was so thankful.

“Love The Country Life”

I love the country setting but close to anything I need. The hotel has it all with a great price. Many good places around to eat, shop, pool and excellent customer service especally from the maid service. The lobby has a desktop computer, vending machine, coke machine, free coffee and tea twenty-four hours. You are surrounded by anything you need at a economical price.

“Okay for the money.”

Fine for the money. No frills, but okay for an overnight stopover. IHop was handy and a 15% discount with a Motel 6 key.

“Adequate”

The room was very good. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room was clean. Did not have all the extras of the pricer rooms but they are not neccessary anyway.

We would gladly return. Though a modest price, we received a clean and comfortable room that suited our needs just fine. We go just what we wanted.

“surrprisingly good, but with issues”

When you stay at Motel 6, you usually pick the chain for location and price... you don't expect 5 stars. That said, this one had some surprises... some good, some not so good. First, we were pleasantly surprised on checkin to be handed a goodie bag... with a bottle of water and two vending-type snacks in it. When we got to the room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a small refrigerator and a microwave oven in our room, along with a cool triangle-shaped bathtub (which seemed new) with a place to sit down on the far side. Downsides: we couldn't get our Internet connection to work the second night; our mag-stripe room key had to be recoded the second night; this hotel has no elevator (although it is an indoor-corridor layout). The guest-use Internet computer in the lobby was apparently off for repairs. The first morning, half the lobby coffee machine was also not working. Pillows on the bed were kinda thin. We didn't find time for the pool, but it looked OK, though a little small. I don't really understand why motels in Hillsboro are so pricey, it's not really a tourist magnet.
