I prefer top floors at any hotel. But the recent rains resulted in many leaks. The top floor had a very strong mildew odor. Top floor should have been closed off due to the numerous leaks. I walked the other floors and did not smell the mildew. My room was clean but the smell permeated slightly. It was tolerable for a one night stay.

Leaky roof and smell

Posted May 31, 2015
When we got off the elevator, on the top floor there were ceiling tiles removed and buckets catching leaking water. The smell was unappetizing to say the least The room and the breakfast were ok.

Very Disappointed

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: The room was comfortable.
Cons: The tv is to small and breakfast could be improved.
We were change to what was called an upgrade. We soon found out this was a bust. The 4th floor was extremely hot and leaking. Buckets were everywhere. Our room was comfortable but we were placed in a corner far from an elevator. Why the top floor with all the leaking? Check in was ok until I complained about the problems. I didn't get any indication that he cared. While eating breakfast I ask the clerk about the flooding in the area and she let me know quickly she didn't know anything.

Middle to lower quality facility.

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: See above.
Location: Convenient to highway
Our room was on 3rd floor, right above entrance. Noise of automobiles arriving and leaving facility prevented good night's sleep. Insufficient # of electrical outlets in room so as to conveniently charge or operate electronic equipment. Mattress too soft, bathroom sink area too small and there were no cups other than cheap paper cups. Would seek lodging elsewhere next time.

Would stay here again.

Room 433. Suggest you request a room facing away from the highway. We were given an upgrade/better location no charge, which we really appreciated! A light bulb was missing and the bathroom fan didn't seem to work, but the towels were good and the shower head was great.

Seeing someone at Shepherd AFB

Standard hotel. Clean comfortable. Overall average for the price. Stay with confidence. Close to Air Force base and right across the street from a Whataburger. Neighborhood seems a bit rough but property and parking seemed safe. Access right off highway.
