My Family spent one night at Hotel at Wichita Fall

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Don't know. We were in Holliday for a football game and just needed a place to spend the night since it was too far to drive back to our home in dark
We were very pleased with Hotel at Wichita Falls. It was easily located, very clean, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, nice and helpful employees. We will definitely stay there again!

The franchisor pulled out.

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: It need a new franchisor for amenities
Location: On the highway. Walking distance to nowhere.
This is a non-smoking hotel although Expedia said there where smoking rooms. The lounge and restaurant were closed. along with the business center. Housekeeping didn't show up. I think Holiday Inn cancelled their contract. There was black plastic covering the sign. The nice woman at the desk did give us a break on the rate.

Not sure if they always charge $230

Posted Aug 25, 2014
I will say it was only about a quarter of a mile from the hotter than hell race start. Which made me feel like it was money well spent. However the hotel conditions are not that of a $300 a night hotel. It used to be a holiday inn and they've covered up the holiday and sign.

Nice hotel for a quick stay on long road trip

Posted Jul 8, 2014
This was a decent hotel, located by the highway so it was easy to get back on road next morning. My boyfriend says the breakfast was delicious, Texas shaped waffles. WiFi didn't work, but the owners were very nice and tried to fix it. Overall a nice place for a 1 night stay just to get some shut eye while on road trip.

A nice quiet stay

Posted Jun 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
I would definately stay here again. My wife and I needed a quick out of town and this hotel fit the bill. It was quiet, didn't smell and seemed to be well maintained. There was some moinor cleanliness issues but nothing over the top. Well worth the price and easy access to the highway.

Bad. Hotel not very clean and very run down. Used to be a Holiday Inn, I don't know what it is now.

Perfect for the Price

Great pool and outdoor area. Wonderful weekend hot breakfast buffet. People are very friendly and the hotel is quiet clean. It is a slightly older hotel, but appears to have been well maintained. The restaurant is no longer open, but there were several places to order in from. The hot tub/spa appears to be out for at least awhile. Improvements would be more towels at pool and working outlets in our room. There were a few outlets that no longer worked. We were in an executive suit on the 6th floor and it was a bit of a pain trying to charge and use our electronics.
