“Below average rooms”

A few details about my room: permanent black scruffs on the carpet, small burn holes in the comforter, a slug in the bathtub, and less than really clean white sheets on the beds. But the beds were comfortable and it was refreshing to have the front door open up to the 3-story rotunda opening in the middle which housed a decent pool, kiddie pool, and 15-20 person hot tub. The opening looks like it is better kept and ready for receptions, parties, and maybe conventions. Note: don't leave anything behind; consider your forgotten items as Elvis... Gone.

“nice atruim hotel”

The atrium type hotel was well kept except for the work out room. Nothing in the work out room was in working order but hotel was good overall. breakfast was good. Condition of rooms and hotel was good. I would stay there again. Good vlue for the money.

“Would Never Stay Here Again”

But for the very friendly staff, this is one of the worst places we have ever stayed in. The room smelled so bad from smoke (although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room) we almost couldn't stand it. We thought about asking for another room, but our friends, who were also there, had the same problem with their room. The first morning no coffee cups, the second morning, no coffee. The floors and furniture were filthy. There is only one window, which was a window into the interior of the hotel. It didn't open and looked right into the elevator if you had the curtain open. The curtain was hanging off the rod and looked terrible. There are indoor facilities, such as a pool and hot tub, shuffle board, and miniature golf. Sounds great, but the chlorine smell from the pool was very strong and made the lobby uncomfortable if you wanted to sit there. The restaurant is closed except for a very marginal breakfast in the morning. The lounge is shut down. Cannot recommend this hotel.

“Great Hotel for the Location and Price!”

We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and we promised our boys a pool. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The pool was great, loved that there was a kiddie pool and hot tub. Children loved the putt putt course and the shuffleboard that was also in the atrium. We plan on making this our stop every year on our trip to and from home. The price was really great too!

“Dirty, cockroach infested”

Where do I begin? We drove nine hours thinking we were going to have a non-smoking room, but walked into the room and the smell of smoke about knocked you over. You could tell the room had not had a good cleaning. Cockroach in bathroom.. later after being out for awhile, we returned to our room, only to see a baby cockroach run across the phone. Window drape was broke and you couldn't get the light blocked out. Door had a crack big enough to see the light out in the filthy hallway. We stayed two nights in this place and the first night there, someone punched a hole in the drywall outside of our room in the hallway. The morning we checked out, the drywall pieces were STILL laying in the hallway and had never been vacuumed up ! We are not overly picky people and don't expect places to be perfect, but this place was ridiculous !!

“old, out of date”

This hotel didn't have the room I reserved but moved me to three different ones before telling me that. The carpet in each room was stained and the pool deck had mildew growing all over it. the hot tub water was greasy, with a film all over it.

“Good with reservations”

The only areas that were not good were maintenance. There was problems with the ceiling in the bathroom. There was not stopper in the sink, important for us who shave the old fashion way. There was mold on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. In the commons area the were maintenance items that needed attention.

“First and Last Stay”

My girlfriend and I checked in for a weekend getaway to Wichita Falls. Check in was quick and easy. The elevator was out so we had to take the stairs up. Once in our room, my girlfriend went to the bathroom to find it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I called downstairs and thequickly changed our room. Again, back down the stairs and then back up again. The next room was very clean and nice. The next morning when we got up to shower...NO hot water. We then checked out and left.

“Very good hotel, will definately use again”

This hotel, is very well kept and maintained. There was some work in the parking lot that made entering a little difficult. I do think that the parking should be improved, there are not quite enough spots for all the people that are staying there, and parking is cramped
